In line with the ongoing efforts to promote a safe, healthy, and drug-free working environment, Barangay Liburon conducted a 𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜-𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙮 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 alongside a Random Drug Testing activity for all barangay employees and members of the Barangay Council.

The activity was carried out under the supervision of the 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊-𝑫𝒓𝒖𝒈 𝑨𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 (𝑩𝑨𝑫𝑨𝑪), headed by the 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣, 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝘼𝙡𝙢𝙖 𝙔. 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙖. The initiative was further supported by the 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚-𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧, 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙄𝙣𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙇. 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢 𝙎. 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙨 and the rest of 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍..

The orientation provided comprehensive information regarding the 𝑫𝒓𝒖𝒈-𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚, including its objectives, implementation procedures, and the responsibilities of all personnel. Emphasis was given to the protocols and actions to be taken in the event that any individual yields a positive result during drug testing. This ensured that all participants clearly understood the policies, consequences, and support mechanisms in place.

Following the orientation, a 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝑫𝒓𝒖𝒈 𝑻𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 was conducted to reinforce the barangay’s commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace. The testing process was facilitated by 𝑴𝒔. 𝑱𝒐𝒏𝒂 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒂ñ𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝑹𝑵. and with the witnessed of 𝑷𝑺𝑩 𝑷𝑵𝑷 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐 ensuring that proper procedures and confidentiality standards were strictly observed.

All 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒅𝒓𝒖𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔, reflecting the compliance and commitment of barangay officials and employees to maintain a drug-free workplace.

The 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑳𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 proudly joins the celebration of World Immunization Week, highlighting the importance of vaccines in protecting every Filipino child and community, led by the 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑯𝒐𝒏. Ang regular nga pagpabakuna nagsiguro nga ang mga masuso ug kabataan makadawat sa angay nga bakuna sa hustong panahon. Kini nagpanalipod kanila batok sa mga delikadong sakit sama sa tigdas, polio, tuberculosis, diphtheria, ug uban pa—aron sila motubo nga lig-on ug himsog.

📢𝑲𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏 𝒔𝒂 𝒎𝒈𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒖𝒏𝒂:
Ang mga bakuna luwas, epektibo, ug importante kaayo. Kini nagpalig-on sa natural nga panalipod sa lawas, naglikay sa pagkatap sa mga sakit, ug nagpanalipod dili lamang sa indibidwal kundili sa tibuok komunidad. Pinaagi sa pagbakuna, mapakunhod nato ang risgo sa sakit, kapansanan, ug kamatayon.

💙 𝑨𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒅:
Isip mga ginikanan, tigbantay, ug miyembro sa komunidad, atong hiniusang katungdanan ang pagkompleto sa bakuna sa matag bata. Padayon ta sa pagsuporta sa atong mga programa sa panglawas ug siguruhon nga walay bata ang mabilin nga walay proteksyon.

🎤Barangay Liburon Health Center also conducted a seminar for parents on the importance of vaccination, emphasizing how vaccines protect children from serious diseases and help keep the community safe, resource speaker 𝑴𝒔. 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂 𝑹𝑵.

On April 24, 2025, Barangay Liburon successfully conducted a Free Operation Tuli at the Barangay Liburon Gym, marking a meaningful initiative in promoting the health and well-being of the community. The activity provided an important medical service to residents, especially the youth, in a safe and organized setting.

This significant event was made possible through the collaboration with the City Health Office, led by Dr. Ma. Felmar M. Deza and Dr. Kyra Marj Tañagras, together with the dedicated team of nurses, midwives, HEPO Mrs. Lyra Rodriguez, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS). Their commitment and teamwork ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the operation.

Punong Barangay Alma Y. Rentillosa extends her sincere appreciation to the medical team and all volunteers for their unwavering support, professionalism, and compassion. Their efforts played a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Barangay Liburon.

The Barangay of Liburon successfully conducted the Bakuna Ricorida on April 22, 2026, as part of its continued commitment to promote public health and protect the community against preventable diseases.

This initiative was spearheaded by our dedicated Punong Barangay, Hon. Alma Y. Rentillosa, in coordination with the Committee on Health led by Hon. Novem S. Orias. The activity was actively supported by the Health Education and Promotion Officer (HEPO), Mrs. Lyra S. Rodriguez, together with the hardworking Barangay Midwife Ms. Maria Alipan Aleonar, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) & with help of Barangay Tanods.

The Bakuna Ricorida aimed to increase awareness on the importance of vaccination, encourage residents to complete their immunization schedules, and ensure that no one is left behind in accessing essential health services. Through house-to-house visits, information dissemination, and community engagement, the team emphasized the value of vaccines in safeguarding the health of children, adults, and the elderly.

As part of the campaign, flyers highlighting the importance of vaccination were distributed to residents to further educate the community and reinforce key health messages about the benefits and safety of vaccines.

The success of this activity reflects the strong collaboration between barangay officials, health personnel, and the community. Barangay Liburon remains committed to strengthening its health programs and ensuring a safer, healthier future for all.

The One-Day Fire Safety Seminar and Two-Day Earthquake and Disaster Preparedness Seminar was successfully conducted on April 14–15, 2026 at Barangay Liburon Gym.

This activity was headed by Hon. Alma Y. Rentillosa, in collaboration with the Committee on Peace and Order led by Hon. Inocentes L. Amistad and the Committee on Health led by Hon. Novem S. Orias.

The seminar was actively participated in by members of the BPSO, BHW, HEPO, SK officials, and Barangay Liburon Volunteers, strengthening community awareness and preparedness in times of emergencies.

The first day featured resource speakers from the BFP Carcar City Station, focusing on fire safety awareness and response, while the second day was facilitated by the CDRRMO Carcar City, highlighting earthquake readiness and disaster preparedness.
