CBDEG is a SEC-registered non-profit NGO, accredited by Rizal Province and Cardona LGU. or CBDEG for short.

An active CSO and People’s Council member, it leads diabetes prevention and care through education and community programs. We represent a non-profit non governmental organization in the Philippines called Community Based Diabetes Educators Group Inc. We have a comprehensive program specifically targeting people in the community having diabetes in Cardona, Rizal that is already being implemented since two years ago. We are doing free medical mission and laboratory services like fasting blood sugar and HBA1c. We have a diabetologist that is also doing volunteer services in the community. We have both municipal and provincial accreditation and is already registered in Securities and Exchange Commission. However, our organization is in need of financial support to carry on with the task. We would like to partner with you in this endeavor to strengthen our information network across our community and neighboring town.

CBDEG Visits Binangonan Municipal Hall Mahal Kong Binangonan

CBDEG Corporate Secretary Zae Moog recently made a courtesy call to the office of Vice Mayor Russell Ynares at the Binangonan Municipality last Octobeber 13, 2025.

She was graciously welcomed by Honorable Councilors Coco Antiporda, Engr. Bien Ojeda, Jane Apostadero, Dr. Doc Lito Dela Cuesta and Ruben Magdalena.

Representing the Raja Sulayman Masjid sisters, Ms. Moog humbly sought support and assistance for their community’s ongoing needs and initiatives. 🕌❤️

We deeply appreciate the warm reception and openness of our local leaders to listen, engage, and stand with grassroots efforts toward inclusive and community-based development.

This afternoon, CBDEG Corporate Secretary Ms. Zaerele Moog made a courtesy call to Hon. Coco C. Antiporda, Municipal Councilor of Binangonan, and Dr. Fidelito “Dick” Ceñidoza, Municipal Health Officer.

It was a productive meeting focused on future collaborations that aim to enhance health education, diabetes awareness, and community-based health programs in Binangonan.

This morning, our CBDEG Vice President, Ms. Fe Felix, attended the Sangguniang Bayan Session where the main agenda focused on passing an ordinance addressing Dengue cases in our community.

CBDEG Joins Local Governance Efforts

We are proud to share that our President, Gene Dionisio represented the Community Based Diabetes Educators Group Inc. (CBDEG) at the Meeting Among Accredited CSOs organized by the DILG–Cardona, Rizal, last September 16, 2025 at the Audio Visual Conference Room, Municipal Hall of Cardona.

This meeting was held in preparation for the reconstitution of the Local Special Bodies (LSBs) and aimed to:
✅ Select CSO representatives to the Local Development Council, Local Health Board, and Local School Board
✅ Orient accredited CSOs on their functions and responsibilities in local governance

CBDEG remains committed to actively participating in local governance and is proud to continue as a member of the Local Health Board, ensuring that the community’s health and wellness needs—especially in diabetes education and prevention—are always represented. 💙
