In order to enhance our hospital staff's fundamental customer service abilities, CPHCF staff took part in a Two-day Seminar/Workshop focused on Basic Customer Service Skills, held on September 11-12, 2025, at RVL Event Place in Carrascal, Surigao del Sur. We extend our gratitude to Mr. Zandroval B. Laganao, Supervising Human Resource Specialist, for serving as our Resource Speaker/Facilitator on the first day.

Training in customer service provides hospital personnel with essential communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to offer compassionate, respectful, and responsive care and, in turn, enhance patient satisfaction.

The celebration continues as CPHCF staff gathered for our anniversary dinner and party. In attendance were former and present hospital employees. We were also graced by the presence of our Sangguniang Bayan Member on Health, Hon. Arnel Sunico.

We express our deepest gratitude to our Chief of Hospital, Dr. Sherwin V. Josol, MD, CHA, DipHLM, our Administrative Officer II, Ivy C. Pingol, Section Heads and the event’s Program Committee for the success of our celebration.

Celebrating 10 years of lifesaving care, healing, service, compassion and resilience. Our sincere appreciation goes out to our hardworking employees, patients, families and the Local Government Unit of Carrascal, led by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Joseph L. Urgel and Vice Mayor, Hon. Vicente H. Pimentel, III for being part of our journey. We are appreciative of our community’s confidence, trust and support.

In celebration of Carrascal Primary Health Care Facility’s 10th Founding Anniversary, hospital staff attended the Holy Mass at Mt. Carmel Parish Church at 8:00 in the morning. The mass was later followed by a motorcade around town.

IN PHOTOS || MAIFIP Monitoring – August 20, 2025

The Malasakit Program Office – Central Office, in partnership with the DOH CHD MAIFIP Program, conducted a visit to Carrascal Primary Health Care Facility on August 20, 2025 for its quarterly monitoring and evaluation of the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients (MAIFIP) Program.

They evaluated how effectively the facility is implementing the program to ensure compliance with the established guidelines. Through their observations and feedback, we were able to pinpoint the areas that require enhancement. As CPHCF persistently works to improve our service delivery to the community, we assure the public that they can have confidence in the quality of care and health services provided by our facility.

Carrascal Primary Health Care Facility conducts simultaneous Earthquake and Fire Drill together with MDRRMO Carrascal led by LDRRM Officer Christine Arreza-Intano, MDC and BFP Carrascal Central Fire Station headed by SFO2 Emmanuel N**i. The drill participated by the staff and employees of CPHCF aims to equip the facility in cases of fire and earthquake incidents.

With the desire to equip our hospital staff on breastfeeding policies, CPHCF staff participated in the Orientation on Lactation Management and HIV Policy on July 30, 2025 at the RVL Event Place, Carrascal, Surigao del Sur.

This orientation aims to help staff understand the scientific evidence supporting breastfeeding, even for mother's living with HIV, and equip them with the knowledge to counsel and support mother's effectively.

The Department of Health's Regulations, Licensing, and Enforcement Division (DOH-RLED) team visited Carrascal Primary Health Care Facility on July 17-18, 2025. They conducted a comprehensive monitoring and inspection of our facility's compliance with regulatory standards.

Through the DOH-RLED team's observations and feedback, we are able to identify the areas in need of improvement while also recognizing those that are up to standards. As CPHCF continuously strives to improve the delivery of our services to the people, we can assure the public that they can trust the quality of health care services offered by our facility.
