Isang makabuluhang pagpupulong ang naganap noong Nobyembre 6, 2025, kasama ang mga Punong Barangay at kanilang mga Komiteng Pangkalusugan, HRH-DOH CLCHD Casiguran, at mga kawani ng Municipal Health Office ng Casiguran sa pamumuno ni Dr. Merill Danay bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsuporta sa mga programang pangkalusugan sa bayan ng Casiguran.

Matagumpay na natalakay ang mga mahahalagang agenda:

📌 BHAP (Barangay Health Annual Plan) – Pagpaplano ng mga programang pangkalusugan para taong 2027

This regionwide gathering brought together PhilHealth partners from Branch A and Branch B—representing both government and private institutions—united in strengthening quality healthcare for all.

We are honored to share that LGU Casiguran, led by our Municipal Mayor-Roynald S. Soriano, was awarded as an 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐆𝐔.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Health Office, under the leadership of Dr. Merill A. Danay, received the prestigious "𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝" for delivering dedicated and culturally responsive health services to 16 Indigenous Peoples (IP) communities, serving a total population of 2,846 IPs in Casiguran.

Representing the municipality during the CLAP awarding ceremony were:
• Princess Alen A. Cabunoc, RMT, MPA – Medical Technologist II / PhilHealth Coordinator
• Fran Christian B. Torre, RN – Nutrition Officer II

These recognitions stand as a testament to our continued commitment to accessible, inclusive, and people-centered healthcare for all Casiguranin.

2025 2nd semester Buntis Summit

"𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒅 𝒏𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑰𝒏𝒂, 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒐𝒍 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒚𝒂"

Patuloy ang suporta at pagbibigay-serbisyo sa ating mga buntis upang masiguro ang ligtas, maayos at malusog na pagbubuntis. Sa pamamagitan ng mga programa, edukasyon, at gabay na handog ng Municipal Health Office ay mas napapalakas ang kaalaman ng mga nanay para sa tamang pangangalaga sa sarili at sa kanilang dinadala.

Ang ating mga inisyatibong nakatuon sa buntis gaya ng antenatal care, tamang nutrisyon, breastfeeding education, newborn screening, mental health awareness, at family planning ay patunay ng patuloy na malasakit ng LGU Casiguran para sa kalusugan ng bawat mag-ina. Dahil sa bawat pagsuportang ibinibigay natin sa isang buntis, may isang sanggol na nagkakaroon ng mas magandang simula- ang First 1000 Days ng kanyang buhay.

“WORLD TOILET DAY 2025” 🚽

Sa bawat tahanan at komunidad, napakahalaga ng pagkakaroon ng malinis, maayos, at ligtas na palikuran. Kaya ngayong Nobyembre 19 – World Toilet Day, nakikiisa ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Casiguran sa pangunguna ni Kgg. Roynald S. Soriano, Punong Bayan sa pagpapalawak ng kamalayan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng wastong sanitasyon para sa kalusugan at dignidad ng bawat Casiguranin.

Sa ilalim ng kanyang pangangasiwa, at sa pagtutulungan ng Municipal Health Office (MHO) at Municipal Engineering Office (MEO) matagumpay na naipatayo ang Basic Sanitation Facility para sa 16 household sa Sitio Nikalkal Brgy San Ildefonso. Patuloy rin ang implementasyon ng pamamahagi ng libreng toilet bowl sa mga kabahayang wala pang sariling palikuran, alinsunod sa Municipal Ordinance No. 105 s. 2024

Kasabay nito ang pagpapatuloy ng pagsasagawa ng IEC at ang programa ng ZOD Verification, na naglalayong tiyakin na ang bawat komunidad ay may ligtas, maayos, at angkop na pasilidad sa sanitasyon, bilang bahagi ng mas malawak na layunin tungo sa Zero Open Defecation.

Together, let’s strengthen awareness, promote prevention, and support a transformative AIDS response in our community. 🌟❤️

The Municipal Health Office(MHO)of Casiguran and Mount Carmel College of Casiguran(MCCC) in the Higher Education Department come together to bring awareness, prevention and breaking stigma about HIV/AIDS and to highlight the resilience of community-led services and call for greater political and financial commitment to progress in combating this disease.

The theme of this year’s World AIDS Day awareness campaign is “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response” which will be the focus of the HIV/AIDS IFOMERCIAL CONTEST among college students of MCCC. Deadline of entry will be on of before November 26, 2025, 5:00 pm, ahead of the HIV/AIDS EDUCATIONAL FORUM & AWARDING CEREMONY. Submission may be send via flash drive(USB) to Mr. Nikko R. Panilagao. The winners and partcipants will receive certificates and cash prizes.

Here are the awards and cash prizes:

✨Certificates and cash prizes will be awarded to the following:
1st Placer - 3,500 pesos
2nd Placer- 2,500 pesos
3rd Placer- 1,500 pesos

Bilang paghahanda sa paparating na Bagyong Fung-Wong (Pre-UWAN), ipinapatupad na ng ating MDRRMC ang mga sumusunod na hakbang:

✅ BLUE ALERT STATUS ng MDRRM Operations Center.
✅ "NO SAILING POLICY" (Bawal pumalaot ang lahat ng bangka at sasakyang pandagat).
✅ Pagbabawal sa LAHAT ng outdoor activities sa kahabaan ng mga coastal barangays.

Kabilang sa mga ipinagbabawal na aktibidad:
1. Paglangoy, Surfing, Diving, at Snorkeling
2. Lahat ng uri ng water sports
3. Pamamangka at Pangingisda
4. Picnics

All registered members of the YaKap Provider “Casiguran Rural Health Unit and Birthing Clinic Building – Vicente Teepecuy” who intend to transfer to another YaKap Provider are advised to submit an accomplished PKRF Formhttps://www.philhealth.gov.ph/circulars/2024/0013/Annex_A_PKRF_2024.pdf and attach a photocopy of valid ID on or before the first week of December 2025.

Please note that transferring to another YaKap Provider means that your primary health facility for check-ups and services next year 2026 will no longer be the Casiguran Rural Health Unit and Birthing Clinic.

You may confirm your current YaKap Provider assignment through your e-GOV PH app on your mobile device. For assistance or inquiries, please visit the Casiguran RHU or PM our official FB page.

Ang Lokal na pamahalaan ng Casiguran, Aurora ay magsasagawa ng Mobile Blood Donation, gaganapin sa ika 13 hanggang ika 14 ng Nobyembre,2025 (Huwebes-Byernes) sa mga sumusunod na schedule:

November 13, 2025

"Inaanyayahan po namin ang lahat ng mga voluntary new at regular donor natin sa venue na nakatala. Ang mga blood donors na nagdonate noong September 24-25, 2025 ay PANSAMANTALANG HINDI po muna pwedeng magdonate.

Sino ang mga pwedeng mag donate?
✔️Edad 18-60 taong gulang
✔️Timbang hindi baba sa 50kilograms (110pounds)
✔️Pulse Rate: 60-100 beats per minute
✔️Blood pressure: within normal limits
✔️Atleast 125mg/dL Hemoglobin during testing bago kuhaan ng dugo.
✔️Bukal sa loob na magbibigay ng dugo
✔️Ang ibang detalye ay maaring itanong sa coordinator
Hindi na po inaanyayahan kung nagkaroon ng high-risk activities tulad ng:
❌Binayaran upang magbigay ng dugo
❌Nais lang matest ang dugo sa mga nakakahawang sakit
❌Nakipagtalik sa hindi pa kakilala nang higit 6 months
❌Nakipagtalik sa kapwa lalake
❌Maraming partner
❌Injecting Drug user
❌Nakipagtalik sa lalake na pinagsususpetchahan na nagkaroon din ng ibang lalakeng partner.
❌Commercial Sexual Worker
Ito po ay impormasyon na kailangang malaman para mapababa na po ang deferral rate (rejection) sa mga blood donors natin.
FAQs:
❓Pwede po ba magdonate kung may tatoo?
-->Maari po kung ang tatoo ay mahigit na isang taon na.
❓Gaano karami ang kukunin na dugo sakin?
-->450mL po, approximately 10 percent ng iyong total blood sa katawan kung ikaw ay tumitimbang 60-70kgs.
❓Safe ba ang blood donation?
-->Ito po ay napatunayan nang safe lalot mga medical professional po ang gagawa ng procedure dagdag pa po, iaassess pa po ang inyong health status bago payagang magdonate ng dugo. "We always consider first the safety of the donor".
❓Ano ang mga paghahandang dapat kong gawin bago magdonate?
1.Magkaroon ng sapat na tulog 6-8hours.
2.Kumain ng masustansya iwasan ang malalangis na pagkain.
3. Uminom ng maraming tubig o juice.
4. Walang ininom na gamot sa loob ng 24 na oras.
5. Iwasan ng uminom ng alak.
