-Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Basic carpentry and painting skills

* Nursing Attendant Qualifications:
- Graduate of Nursing Course OR Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Nurse Aide Training Program
- Basic knowledge of patient care practices
- Ability to take vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).

* Pharmacist
- Must be a Licensed Pharmacist

* Social Worker
- Must be a Licensed Social Worker

Today marks a significant milestone in the history of Catarman Doctors Hospital—a day that reflects not only growth, but a deepened commitment to providing exceptional healthcare to the people of Northern Samar and beyond.

With great pride and anticipation, we officially break ground on the expansion of our hospital. This project is more than just an infrastructure development—it is a vision brought to life, one that seeks to enhance the quality, accessibility, and range of medical services available to our community.
Present during the event are Arch. Arnulfo De Asis, Chairman of the Board; Dr. Thomas De Asis , Chief of Hospital; Dr. Ronald Ejercito, Director for Administrative Services; Dr. Ma. Theresa De Asis, Director for Medical & Ancillary Services; Members of the Board of Directors, Investors, Medical Staff, Department Heads and other Hospital Personnel.

This expansion includes the construction of a dedicated Intensive Care Unit, designed to deliver critical care services equipped with the latest technology and staffed by highly trained professionals. We recognize the vital importance of having a strong ICU, especially in times of urgent need.

In addition, we are establishing a Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Unit—a space that will support patients in their journey toward healing and recovery, offering individualized care for improved mobility, strength, and quality of life.

Recognizing the growing demand for renal care, we are also expanding our Hemodialysis Unit to 11 beds, ensuring that more patients can receive life-sustaining treatment in a comfortable, well-equipped environment.

The expansion further includes additional private rooms and suite rooms, providing patients and their families with more comfort, privacy, and convenience during their stay with us.

To support our growing clinical services, we will also enhance the Laboratory and Pharmacy departments, ensuring faster diagnostics, more efficient operations, and better access to essential medications.

This groundbreaking is not only a celebration of physical growth but a promise—a promise that Catarman Doctors Hospital will continue to evolve, innovate, and care deeply for the health and well-being of our people.
