The Samar Provincial Hospital family came together for a truly glamorous evening of 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆 during the SPH Christmas Year-End Party 2025.

With the theme “Winter Wonderland: A Runway of Frost and Glamour,” the night sparkled with 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, beautifully showcasing the 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗣𝗛 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲𝘀 from all departments.

The Samar Provincial Hospital, in collaboration with Basic Lifesaving Solutions Training Center , successfully conducted the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Training on 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟳–𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿.

This activity is part of SPH’s continuous 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻, strengthening the knowledge, skills, and preparedness of our healthcare professionals in responding to cardiac emergencies and delivering timely, life-saving care.

𝗦𝗣𝗛 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥-𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗭𝗭𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗦 𝗩𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡!

The Samar Provincial Hospital Year-End Party kicked off on a festive note with the successful conclusion of the Christmas Village Making Competition under this year’s theme, “𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱: 𝗔 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗿.” Judging was held on 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, where all hospital sections, organized into six clusters, presented their Christmas Villages designed to reflect the elegance and magic of the winter season. Each cluster selected a representative to explain the concept, craftsmanship, and story behind their display, and to respond to questions from the judging panel.

The judges praised the clusters for their extraordinary creativity, dedication, storytelling, competitiveness, and resourcefulness. The competition achieved an impressive unofficial overall average score across all six clusters, making this year’s showcase one of the closest and most remarkable demonstrations of teamwork and aesthetic expression.

The Samar Provincial Hospital (SPH) has once again been awarded a 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 under the Green Viability Assessment (GVA) System on December 1, 2025, during the 2025 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 led by the Department of Health–Health Facility Development Bureau, held at Swiss-Bel Hotel, Manila. This achievement reflects the hospital’s consistent commitment to creating a safer, healthier, and more patient-friendly environment.

SPH’s consistent GVA achievement was driven by the dedicated work of the 𝗦𝗣𝗛 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗩𝗔 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗧. 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, who accepted the award on behalf of the hospital in recognition of their shared commitment to a safer, more patient-centered environment.

Samar Provincial Hospital warmly honors its successful conclusion of the Perioperative Nursing Orientation Program on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗣𝗛 - 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 (𝗖𝗦𝗦𝗥).

This activity aimed to maintain the competencies of our nurses in delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate perioperative care. The program reflects SPH’s constant commitment to professional development and improved patient outcomes.

The Samar Provincial Hospital is honored to be the 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 in Samar to earn the AFHF Level II Accreditation. This significant accomplishment demonstrates our dedication to the health and welfare of the youth of Samar.

On 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the 𝗗𝗢𝗛–𝗘𝗩𝗖𝗛𝗗 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺, together with representatives from 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗛𝗢–𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿, conducted the Level II evaluation. Peer educators, nurses, doctors, and other key personnel actively participated and showcased the hospital’s readiness to provide respectful, youth-centered services.

This milestone is the result of the dedicated efforts of the 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲, headed by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗮 𝗖. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼, 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗚𝗦 and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗚. This activity was made possible through the support of 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗻, whose advocacy for accessible and quality health services continues to guide initiatives across the province.
