National Immunization Program Implementation Review 2025 and Planning 2026 Conducted by CHO-III Cauayan

The City Health Office III of Cauayan City successfully conducted the National Immunization Program (NIP) Implementation Review for 2025 and Planning Workshop for 2026. The activity was funded by the Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development – Regional Office II (CVCHD RO2).

The event was graced by visitors from the Regional NIP Team, Ms. Donna Richelle Calaoagan and Ms. Mae Anthonette Losbaños, who actively participated in the discussions and provided technical insights.

To formally open the activity, Ms. Joana P. Samonte, Nurse III and NIP Coordinator, presented the objectives and expected outputs of the meeting, along with an overview of the city’s current immunization status. This was followed by Ms. Corazon T. Magudang, RN, who delivered the Accomplishment Report on Rapid Convenience Monitoring.

Further presentations were made by Ms. Leticia A. Eugenio, Ms. Aurora T. Villavert, and Ms. Analiza A. Dacuycuy, who discussed the National Immunization Program accomplishments and plans for the upcoming year.

A Synthesis and Key Agreements session allowed all participants to consolidate insights, identify gaps, and agree on strategies to strengthen the implementation of NIP activities in 2026.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Errol Rudolph R. Maximo, RN, who expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts of all participants and emphasized the importance of sustained commitment to improving immunization coverage in the city.

Overall, the activity was a successful review and planning session, reinforcing CHO-III’s dedication to safeguarding the health of the community through an effective National Immunization Program.
