We successfully concluded the Training on Basic Family Planning Delivery Tasks for Community Health Workers held on June 30 to July 1, 2025! ✨

This training aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of our Barangay Health Workers in delivering accurate and client-centered family planning information and services within their communities.

Thank you to all the participants for your active involvement and dedication to promoting informed choices and reproductive health at the grassroots level.

🔘🏃‍♀️ Mag-ehersisyo ng 30 minuto hanggang 1 oras kada araw

June 30, 2025 | The Health Promotion Units of Cauayan RHU and Cauayan District Hospital, in collaboration with the Provincial Health Office of Negros Occidental, brought timely and important discussions on Dengue, MPOX, and Mental Health to the students of Guiljungan NHS and Cauayan NHS.

We are grateful to the school principals, teachers and staff for warmly welcoming us and supporting this initiative, and to all the students who actively participated—your engagement is the heartbeat of our advocacy!

Pride with Purpose! 🏳️‍🌈✨

June 28, 2025 | The Health Promotion Unit of Cauayan RHU and Cauayan District Hospital proudly joined the successful Pride Month Celebration organized by Gemini77 Entertainment Production for the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community of the Municipality of Cauayan!

Through a fun and meaningful gathering, we conducted a Health Information Education Campaign on STI and HIV/AIDS, provided HIV Counseling & Testing, and distributed free condoms — because awareness is empowerment and health is a right for all.

Let’s continue to break stigma, spread love, and promote inclusive healthcare for everyone.

Alagaan natin ang mga bata 🫶

🚸 Sa kalsada - ituro ang tamang pagtawid.

🚘 Sa paglalakbay - ituro ang paggamit ng seatbelt at helmet.

🏠 Sa bahay – gawing ligtas ang mga gamit para maiwasan ang sakuna tulad ng pagkapaso, pagkahulog, at pagkalason.

💻 Sa internet – protektahan sila sa cyberbullying, fake news at content na hindi angkop sa mga bata.

⚕️Sa kalusugan – gawing regular ang check-up at pagbabakuna. Ituro rin ang tamang paghuhugas ng kamay.

Ang ating kasalukuyan ay itutuloy ng mga kabataan sa kanilang kinabukasan.

🚦 ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS ACTIVITY 🚦

The Cauayan RHU Violence and Injury Prevention Program and Health Promotion Unit, in partnership with the Cauayan District Hospital Health Promotion Unit, conducted a Road Safety Awareness Activity attended by the Tricycle Operators and Drivers of Barangay Guiljungan and Barangay Mambugsay.

The session tackled the causes of road crashes and shared simple yet life-saving tips on how to avoid them. Remember, road crashes are preventable — and safety begins with awareness!
