Our Short Story
Special Learners which started in Singapore is an early childhood development program for young children and children with special needs. It was spearheaded by husband and wife, Sherwin & Thet, who are both Occupational Therapists for 20 years.
It all began with teaching their son who had signs of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder - not officially diagnosed) and grew to a community of families who have children with special needs. They felt the need to open a center in Singapore as they both understand what it feels for parents to worry about their child's future. To have the confidence and necessary skills to integrate themselves and be a part of the society.
Some of the programs offered are: Early Intervention, School Readiness, Sensory Integration, Behavior Management, Community Integration, Group Socialization, Activities Of Dailly Living Skills, and Vocational Training for both Individual and Group Settings.
Special Learners is spreading its wings and will soon open in the Philippines. Their primary goal is to provide quality service for early childhood development and cater the provincial areas starting at Cauayan City, Isabela
