Mental health is also important just like our physical health. It is all about our feelings, emotions, thinking, and moods.

Sometimes we may feel sad, anger, down, disappointed, tired, and that’s part of life. It is okay not to be okay but do not give up.

It is also important to consult to your psychologist or to share your problems and thoughts to your families or trusted friends.

Reminder: Take a break and do something you enjoy. Do not forget to reward yourself after a tiring day.

If you want to know more about mental health, let us watch this video and learn from the story of Sasha and Andre.

Break the Stigma: Mental Health Matters

Over the years, we have been suffering from the Mental Health Stigma wherein people with mental health issues have been disapproved much worse, ridiculed or shamed, by the society. And were told that disorders such as anxiety and depression are just in our minds.

Because of this stigma, people who suffer from mental illness tend to distance themselves instead of asking for help. This culture needs to be put to an end, and this movement can start with us.

For us to understand people who are dealing with their mental complications, we first should acknowledge and recognized mental health in our society.

So do not be afraid to share your story, your mental health is a priority – you matter.

Be Proud : You Matter!

Mental health issues have become increasingly prevalent in recent years, particularly as pandemic has disrupted many people's businesses, jobs, and daily routines. However, this was not only a problem during the pandemic, but it has continued to be a problem since then.

Mental Health Counselling allows a person to have a chance to live again and see that life is uncertain, but once you embrace it, it turn out to be brighten. According to Peterson, many people benefit from mental health counselling in terms of coping with and preventing issues that affect their mental health. With this assistance, it improves life and even saves lives when a person is unable to bear the pain.

Peterson also stated that when people engage in mental health counseling, they often gain: personal empowerment, hope, the overcoming of demoralization caused by social stigma, acceptance of life, personal insight, life skills, wellness, and prevention of future mental health distress.

This advocacy provides everyone in achieving the life they deserve - a life worth living. We must empower one another in the same way that we empower ourselves.

To all the survivors and those dealing with mental health issues out there, remember "we are all in this together," so do not worry and do not be sorry - you matter.
