Cavite Naval Hospital once again takes pride in receiving the Unit of the Year – Health Services Category, along with the award given to two of our own, Dr. Irynne U. Danganan and Ms. Diane Marie L. Giron, as Civilian Human Resource of the Year during the celebration of Naval Installation and Facilities-Cavite’s 54th Founding Anniversary.

Behind the name of CNH are people who serve with heart. These honors symbolize every effort, sacrifice, and act of compassion that define who we are as a unit and as a family.

Cavite Naval Hospital was also recently honored as the Nursing Service Unit of the Year (Hospital Category) by the Philippine Navy Nursing Service during its 70th Founding Anniversary.

From the halls of service to the forefront of excellence: 1LT RUEL E GANIGAN NC and 1LT ALVIN CESAR G RONDON MAC of Cavite Naval Hospital have successfully completed the Technical and Administrative Service Officer Basic Course (TASOBC) CL 46-2025, marking a significant milestone in their military careers. Their graduation stands as a proof to their discipline and commitment to the noble calling of service.

A special commendation goes to 1LT GANIGAN NC who not only completed the course but also emerged as Top 2 of the class and was awarded Best in Group Staff Study. A proud feat that reflects both academic excellence and leadership potential.

An Exemplary Award 🏆

Cavite Naval Hospital is honored to be awarded as the Best Military Treatment Facility (MTF) of the Year 2025 in the Armed Forces of the Philippines — a clear reflection of our commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and compassionate healthcare to Philippine Navy personnel and their dependents.

General Romeo S Brawner Jr., Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CSAFP), graced the event as Guest of Honor and Speaker. He was formally welcomed and joined by the Surgeon General of the AFP, Brigadier General Fatima Claire S Navarro MC. The award for CNH was proudly received by its Acting Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Leland Lowell A Bagnol MC.

Aviation Surgeons

Congratulations to MAJ IKE JEREMY B DIAZ MC and CPT MARK ANTHONTY KIM L DY MC, two (2) Medical Corps Officers of the Cavite Naval Hospital who undergone Aviation Medical Examiners Course (AMEC) Class 17-24 SANIB DIWA, which started last 16 October 2024 and graduated on 06 December 2024 at Fernando Airbase, Lipa City, Batangas.

The students of the class is composed of Medical Corps Officers who were recommended from different branches of service: Philippine Army, Philippine Airforce, Philippine Navy and Philippine Coastguard.

It is also noteworthy of the efforts of MAJ IKE JEREMY B DIAZ MC who topped the class out of 18 students who took the AMEC.

The Aviation Medical Examiners Course, also known as AMEC is a two-month long training of the Office of the Chief Surgeon Airforce that is supervised by the Philippine Airforce Technical Specialization School (PAFTSS), Air Education, Training and Doctrine Command (AETDC). The course emphasizes the importance and responsibilities of being an Aviation Medical Examiners and Flight Surgeons in maintaining the highest level of health readiness to the pilots and crews of the armed forces and as well as the management and handling of medical emergencies in aeromedical evacuations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relied (HADR) operations and other event of which may require an aviation medicine specialist.

On 20 August 2024, the following doctors and nurses graduated from the Technical and Administrative Service Officers Advance Course (TASOAC) Class 31-24, "MAABAGA" (Mega Alagad ng Bayan Para sa Buhay at Galing sa Asenso):

Subsequently, CPT KARLA M URBINA MAC achieved the second place in the overall ranking of fifty students in the class.

The graduation ceremony has taken place at the Health Service Education and Training and Education Center, AFP Health Service Command with LTGEN CHARLTON SEAN M GAERLAN PN(M), the Deputy Chief of Staff, AFP (represented by BGEN ULYSSES S MARQUEZ PAF) as the Guest of Honor and Speaker for the said event.
