Let's talk about SENSORY ISSUES.
When we talk about sensory it pertains to: sight, sound, taste, smell, touch, balance, awareness of your body movements and sensations.
Each children with sensory problems are unique. It can differ from one activity to the other or they can be sensitive today but tomorrow they are okay.
Most neurodevelopmental cases such as ASD and ADHD have this issues. So now, I want to share the different kinds of children with sensory problems.

Kid #1: LOW REGISTRATION
(The normal amount of sensations we feel, IT WAS TOO LITTLE FOR THEM.)
In this scenario, the child is talking to other people who GIVES them the sensation they want to feel.
Kid #2: SENSORY SENSITIVITY
(The normal amount of sensations we feel, IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR THEM.)
In this scenario, the child is talking to other people who GIVES them the sensation they DON'T want to feel.
Kid #3: SENSORY SEEKING
(The normal amount of sensations we feel, IT WAS TOO LITTLE FOR THEM.)
In this scenario, the child's mind and body wants to GET the sensation in the environment.
Kid #4: SENSORY AVOIDING
(The normal amount of sensations we feel, IT WAS TOO MUCH FOR THEM.)
In this scenario, the child's mind and body wants to AVOID the sensation in the environment.
This awareness would help you understand what your child is going through and to address the propper strategies they need to cope with it.
