The Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC), with UNAIDS and partners, has launched the Philippine HIV Prevention Road Map 2025–2030.

The plan outlines 10 key actions to curb the rise of HIV—expanding prevention services, tackling stigma, strengthening community efforts, and introducing new technologies. With young people among the most affected, urgent action is needed to protect the next generation.

Together, we are working to achieve the 95-95-95 targets and end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. 🌍❤️

📊 Voices from the Ground: TB Situation Report

From December 2022 to July 2024, the Call Ka Lungs TB Hotline received 1,043 reports from the community, which reflect real experiences in terms of the accessibility, availability, acceptability, and quality of TB services.

❗️1 SA 5 NA NAMAMATAY NA PLHIV AY DAHIL SA TB❗️

Mas mataas ang posibilidad na magka-TB ang isang PLHIV dahil sa mahinang immune system. Kapag hindi naagapan, maaaring magdulot ito ng malubhang komplikasyon na posibleng humantong sa kamatayan.

Ang HIV at TB co-infection ay maiiwasan sa pamamagitan ng regular na TB screening, tuloy-tuloy na pag-inom ng antiretroviral therapy (ART), at paggamit ng Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT).

ADVISORY | NYC ENDORSES PROJECT GENDER EQUALITY INDEX IN SCHOOLS (GEIS): RAINBOW TOOLKIT BY PANTAY, INC.

The National Youth Commission (NYC) endorsed Project GEIS (Gender Equality Index in Schools), developed by the Philippine Anti-Discrimination Alliance of Youth Leaders (PANTAY) Inc., an accredited member of the National Anti-Poverty Commission's Youth and Students Sectoral Council (NAPC-YSSC).

The Rainbow Toolkit serves as a means to inform and educate students, teachers, coordinators, and youth leaders alike on how to address areas of improvement or challenges and implement improved, gender-responsive initiatives for a gender-sensitive environment.

Included are suggested modules that can be utilized to guide the formulation and implementation of SOGIESC-inclusive trainings, seminars, and capacity-building programs.

The NYC believes we must foster a safe environment for everyone, regardless of differences, where they are treated with dignity and fairness. The Commission embraces diversity and hopes to empower everyone to live out their authentic selves. Together, we can evolve and rise above all challenges with strength, courage, and love.
