Health Benefits ng Pagkain ng Itlog

Ang itlog ay isa sa mga masustansyang pagkain na nagbibigay ng maraming benepisyo sa kalusugan. Narito ang ilan sa mga pangunahing benepisyo ng itlog:

1. Ang itlog ay isa sa mga pinakamahusay na pinagmumulan ng high quality protein at naglalaman ng lahat ng mahahalagang amino acid na kailangan ng ating katawan. Kung kaya’t tinatawag na complete protein ang itlog.
2. Mayaman sa vitamins at minerals ang itlog kabilang dito ang Vitamin A, D, E, B12, Riboflavin at Folate. Mayroon ding mga mineral tulad ng Iron, Phosphorus at Selenium.
3. Ang itlog ay mayaman sa lutein at zeaxanthin, dalawang antioxidants na nakakatulong sa kalusugan ng mata.
4. Ang choline na matatagpuan sa itlog ay napakahalaga para sa development ng utak. Ito ay tumutulong sa memorya, pagkontrol ng mood, at pagpapanatili ng balanse ng mga cells sa katawan
5. Ang itlog ay nakakabusog at nakatutulong sa pag-maintain ng timbang. Kapag kasama ito sa balanseng diyeta, ang mataas na protina ng itlog ay nakakatulong sa pakiramdam ng kabusugan.
6. Ang itlog ay mayaman sa Vitamin D, na mahalaga para sa pag-absorb ng calcium at kalusugan ng buto.
7. Ang itlog ay mayroong mga bitamina at mineral na nakakatulong sa kalusugan ng balat at buhok. Halimbawa, ang biotin sa itlog ay mahalaga para sa malusog na balat, buhok, at kuko.

Sa Pilipinas, ang inirerekomendang pagkonsumo ng itlog ay katulad ng sa pandaigdigang gabay. Ang pangkalahatang rekomendasyon ay kumain ng hanggang 1 buong itlog kada araw para sa karamihan ng mga malusog na indibidwal bilang bahagi ng balanseng diyeta.

Mahalagang tandaan na ang inirerekomendang pagkonsumo ng itlog ay maaaring mag-iba batay sa pangangailangan ng bawat indibidwal sa diyeta, estado ng kalusugan, at personal na mga kagustuhan. Tulad ng sa anumang pagkain, ang tamang pagkain ng itlog ay mahalaga, at dapat itong bahagi ng balanseng diyeta na may iba't ibang masusustansiyang pagkain.

Kung mayroon kang tiyak na alalahanin sa kalusugan o mga pangangailangan sa diyeta, mas mabuti na humingi ng payo mula sa isang propesyonal sa pangkalusugan o isang rehistradong dietitian na makapagbibigay ng personalisadong gabay batay sa iyong mga partikular na kalagayan at pangangailangan sa sustansya.

Your body can't make calcium, so you need to get it from food or supplements.
