Giving out free condoms at the clinic!

Protect yourselves from unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.

Condoms prevent most sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) prevents HIV but not other sexually transmitted infections.

Choose both for maximum protection!

8 out of 10 people will get HPV infection in their lifetime. Some infection will regress, and some can progress.

People with HPV of the high-risk type can have DNA damage causing cells to divide and grow out of control which may lead to cancer!

By protecting against HPV infection, we can prevent these changes and reduce the risk of getting cancer.

HPV VACCINES protect against:
- 90% of HPV strains causing cervical cancer
- 90% of HPV strains causing a**l cancer
- 90% of HPV strains causing ge***al warts
- most strains that cause oral and throat cancer

What are the differences between HPV 4 and HPV 9? Both can protect you from various strains of HPV

HPV 4 protects you against 4 strains of the virus
โœ”๏ธHPV 6 & 11: causing ge***al warts
โœ”๏ธHPV 16 & 18 (high-risk types)

HPV 9 protects you against 9 strains of the virus
โœ”๏ธHPV 6 & 11: causing ge***al warts
โœ”๏ธHPV 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, 58 (high-risk types): causing cancer

Talk to us or visit your nearest OBGYN to know more about HPV and vaccination.

Our pregnant mommies getting their scheduled vaccinations.

When you are pregnant, you may have a higher risk of infection and health problems from certain diseases. These infections can also affect your baby and cause birth defects, miscarriage, or result in your baby being born too soon.

Immunization (getting a vaccine) is safe and is an important part of staying healthy. Make sure that youโ€™ve had all the vaccines recommended for you.

What vaccines are safe during pregnancy?
- Influenza (Flu) vaccine: given annually
- Hepatitis B vaccine: any trimester
- Tetanus toxoid (TT), Tetanus, diptheria (Td), Tetanus, Diptheria, acellular Pertussis (Tdap): 27-36 weeks
- COVID vaccine: any trimester

Why do we give vaccines?
Vaccinations during pregnancy can help protect the expecting mother and the unborn or newborn child from infectious diseases

Talk to your healthcare provider about the vaccines you need for your own health, your partnerโ€™s health, and the health of your baby.

You may visit our clinic or message us.

Subdermal implant insertion in a postpartum mother.

A subdermal Implant is a long-acting (up to 3 years), reversible, contraceptive method.

It is a flexible plastic rod about the size of a matchstick that is placed under the skin of the upper arm. The implant releases a low, steady dose of the hormone progestin.

Progestin prevents pregnancy by pausing ovulation. And it thickens the mucus of the cervix. This makes it hard for s***m to reach an egg.

It must be removed by the end of the third year and may be replaced by a new IMPLANONโ„ข at the time of removal, if continued contraceptive protection is desired.

Implanon should only be inserted and removed by a doctor or other trained healthcare provider.

For queries regarding subdermal implants or other methods of family planning, you may visit our clinic.

07/08/2025

LIPOMENINGOCELE is a type of spina bifida, a neural tube defect, where a fatty mass and part of the spinal cord protrude through a gap in the vertebrae, covered by skin.

Neural tube defects are abnormalities that can occur in the brain, spinal cord, or spine of a developing fetus.

These anomalies occur in the first month of pregnancy, often before a woman even knows that she is pregnant.

Because they are present at birth, they are categorized as conge***al anomalies.

How to prevent this?
FOLIC ACID SUPPLEMENTATION

To minimize the risk of neural tube defects (NTDs) when planning a pregnancy, women should focus on consuming sufficient folic acid, both through diet and supplements, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
This includes starting folic acid supplementation at least one month before conception and continuing throughout the first trimester.

โœ”๏ธIf you have a history of NTDs or other risk factors, your doctor may recommend a higher dose of folic acid (4 mg).
โœ”๏ธMaintain a healthy weight.
โœ”๏ธManage existing health conditions/co-morbidities
โœ”๏ธAvoid harmful substances or exposure to toxins
โœ”๏ธConsult an OBGYN to discuss your plans, review your medications, and address your concerns.
