Huh? The last day of the Redwood Scouts Showdown Camp 25'-26' is over?

Yes! The last day of the showdown camp was full of emotions as the camp end, as the last day was guided by the lord as the Redwood Scouts went to church to attend the 6am mass and right after a honorary awarding of the best of the bestest crews with the highest of high awards. As Hogwarts or (THRIS) closes its gates may this camp further remind you to push better and aim higher as a Redwood Scout.

Hear thy call of the Eagles!
Kicking off from last day’s event, we start day two with a challenging hike to the peak of? Starbuks! And ooh a mini fancy drill showdown, another set of rally games all about scouting skills honing their skills and memories. And.. drum roll please.. a very special event for this night, Campfire Showdown! Where the true show starts, starring young talent in performing and being confident.
After the campfire we had a follow up open forum, followed by a goodnight rosary

Hear ye!, Hear ye!. As the first day of the Redwood Scouts Showdown Camp open’s its gate’s to the grand school of Hogwarts.
We see the best of the best of crews competing for the highest of high awards, competing through rally games, camouflage in the dark, and oof! Talents night of-course. A great tradition of the Redwood Eagles non other than
“Mr. & Ms. Redwood scout!”

On December 1, 2025, the 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 gathered for a memorable Investiture Ceremony and a intense Campfire Showdown at THRIS campus. This day marked a significant step for our aspiring Scouts and a celebration of the enduring spirit of Scouting.

The morning began with the Investiture Ceremony, where new members officially took their oath, committing to the Scout Oath and Law. This crucial tradition symbolizes their promise to uphold the values of duty to God and country, to others, and to self, thus joining the worldwide brotherhood of Scouting.

As the sun sets and next day passes, the atmosphere shifted to the Campfire Showdown! Scouters presented their creative yells, skits, and songs, showcasing teamwork, wit, and talent in a spectacle of light and sound. The blazing bonfire served as a beacon of unity and friendship, strengthening the bonds forged through service and shared experiences.

From the solemn promise of service to the joyous celebration of camaraderie, the event perfectly embodied the spirit of Scouting: preparation for life. Every Scout, newly invested or veteran, proves that the legacy of commitment and community service continues to burn brightly.

As October comes to an end, the Redwood Scouts gathered online to mark the closing of Scouting Month 2025. It was a simple but meaningful day, filled with games, laughter, and into The Life of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement.

Even through a screen, the Scouts shared moments of fun and reflection, reminding everyone that Scouting isn’t just about where we meet. It’s about the spirit we carry wherever we go.

As we wrap up the month, may we continue to live by the lessons of Scouting: service, camaraderie, and a cheerful heart in all we do. 🌟
