Cebu says hello! ๐ด ๐บ
We are deeply honored to welcome Dr. Arthur C. Evans Jr., PhD, CEO of the American Psychological Association, together with his wife, Mrs. Claudene Evans, here in Cebu.
Dr. Evans is a highly respected clinical and community psychologist, health care innovator, and an unwavering advocate for social justice. His visionary leadership has been recognized both nationally and internationally. He was named an โAdvocate for Actionโ by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, received the American Medical Associationโs prestigious Dr. Nathan Davis Award for Outstanding Government Service, and was honored with the Visionary Leadership Award from the National Council of Behavioral Health. He has also been inducted into the Florida Atlantic University Alumni Hall of Fame.
Beyond these accolades, Dr. Evans has held faculty appointments at esteemed institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Yale University School of Medicine, and others. His work has transformed behavioral health care systems, advanced evidence-based practices, and addressed disparities to make mental health care more accessible and just.
