The Cebu Doctors University Hospital - Section of Pulmonary Medicine, in partnership with the Association of Respiratory Care Practitioners Philippines, Inc., Central Visayas chapter, reached out to our community in Brgy. Paknaan to celebrate World Lung Day.

The event aimed to raise awareness and promote healthier lungs for all. Activities included health education on smoking and va**ng cessation, free consultations, and spirometry testing. Together, we're taking a stand for stronger lungs and a healthier future. 🫁💪🏻

The Pulmonary fellows and Internal Medicine residents from CDUH participated in the DAGAN LUNG: Run for Clean Air and Healthy Lungs, promoting lung health and awareness during National Lung Month. 🫁

In celebration of National Tuberculosis Day, the CDUH Section of Adult Pulmonary Medicine conducted a lay forum at the OPD Ground Floor. With the Philippines ranking fourth globally in TB incidence, the event focused on raising awareness about how the disease spreads and its impact on treatment and management, ultimately leading to better health outcomes for Filipinos.

A Celebration of National Lung Month
“Breathing Life into the Community"

In partnership with the Philippine College of Chest Physicians, the Pulmonary Fellows of Cebu took a significant step towards promoting lung health awareness in the community on July 28, 2025. A comprehensive outreach program was held in Brgy. Apas, Cebu City, featuring TB screening, a lay forum, and free consultations. This initiative promoted early detection and fostered a culture of lung health awareness in the community.

In celebration of the National Asthma Week, we from Cebu Doctors University Hospital - Pulmonary Medicine have conducted a Inhaler Workshop to strengthen the proper use of different types of inhalers. Incorrect inhaler technique is a significant factor contributing to poor asthma control and reduced medication effectiveness.
With this, patients can now Breath easy and Live freely.

In line with this, Cebu Doctors University Hospital - Section of Pulmonary Medicine proudly marked National Pulmonary Rehabilitation Day with a successful Radio Awareness Campaign and Lay Forum! 📻💬
