Join us for an informative and inspiring lay forum on lung cancer awareness, smoking and va**ng hazards, and lung health maintenance.

Nursing Excellence in Action!

In celebration of the International Nurses' Week, Perpetual Succour Hospital of Cebu Training Department organized a series of Nursing Updates for our PSH Nurses. From May 5 - 7, our nurses gathered for a 3-day intensive learning series with the esteemed Mr. Eliseo Q. Mañares, Jr., RN, MBA, CHA, FPSQUA, FPCHA ---- a powerhouse of knowledge and experience in the field!

- Legalities on Nursing Documentation
- Sentinel Events and Safety Culture
- Safe Drug Administration
- Nursing Leadership

This event wasn’t just informative—it was transformative, earning 21 CPD units for our dedicated professionals in Nursing.

In celebration of 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, PSH Cebu Cancer Institute has installed the “𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞”. Ringing the bell, is an emotional and triumphant celebration of what the patient has accomplished - conquering fear, persevering through uncertainty, enduring adversity and hardship, and hanging on to hope with strength and a strong will to live.

As a symbol of comfort, resilience and inspiration to our other cancer patients, our cancer survivors are invited to ring the bell at any time after their last treatment. This is a testament to one of the main goals of the Cebu Cancer Institute (CCI) - to deliver care to our patient holistically, not just focusing on the physical aspect, but also emotionally, by giving them hope and encouragement throughout their treatment journey.
