Healing is not always productive.
Some days, surviving is already enough.

You do not have to prove your growth online, explain your struggles, or turn your pain into performance. Real healing happens quietly too — in rest, in boundaries, in choosing yourself again and again.

Be gentle with yourself, even when no one is watching. 🤍 Happy Sunday mga Kauban 💚🧡

At Kauban Psychological Center, we recognize the growing number of families struggling with children’s excessive video game use and screen time, especially when these behaviors begin to affect emotional wellbeing, behavior, relationships, academic performance, and daily functioning.

To better support children and families experiencing these concerns, Dr. Sherryl Muli-Abellanosa recently completed the 15-hour IGDC Preparation Training on Gaming Disorder held last May 18–19, 2026 at Novotel Manila Araneta City. Organized by and facilitated by, the training focused on evidence-based approaches in understanding, assessing, and addressing problematic gaming behaviors among children and adolescents.

As digital technology continues to shape everyday life, Kauban remains committed to helping families navigate these emerging concerns through compassionate, evidence-based, and family-centered mental health care.

Some people are more likely to develop – especially those with a family history of high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney disease, high salt intake, to***co use, alcohol use, excess weight or low physical activity.

The good news: hypertension can be prevented, detected and controlled.

Speak to a health provider and have your blood pressure checked regularly.

Check your pressure. Protect your future.

How to spot emotiobal abuse

Trauma doesn’t just live in memories. It lives in the nervous system.
That’s why you might feel exhausted for no clear reason. Or tense, even on a calm day.

Your body is always talking to you.
Headaches. Stomach issues. Tight shoulders. Cold hands and feet.
These things are not always random.

When you’ve been in survival mode for a long time, your nervous system can stay stuck there. And it starts to show up in your sleep, your digestion, your focus, your immune system.

Those “weird” symptoms might just be your body asking you to slow down and listen.

This Saturday on Kauban Ta, let’s talk about FOMO, JOMO, burnout, social comparison, and the search for identity and balance in today’s fast-paced world. 💭✨

Join us as we explore how to live intentionally without losing ourselves in the pressure to always be productive.
