🦵 **Knee Pain That Won’t Go Away? It Could Be AVN.**
Not all knee pain is simple arthritis.
One possible cause is **Avascular Necrosis (AVN)** — a condition where the blood supply to part of the bone is reduced or lost.
When this happens, it can lead to:
✔️ Swelling
✔️ Persistent deep pain
✔️ Difficulty walking
✔️ Joint stiffness
✔️ Bone collapse if untreated
AVN can affect the knee — and early diagnosis is very important.
Some risk factors include:
• Long-term steroid use
• Trauma or injury
• Certain medical conditions
If your knee pain feels unusual, persistent, or worsening despite treatment, it’s best to get proper evaluation.
