For Majestic Restaurant's social media posts, we crafted a direction that highlighted more than just food but bold visuals, rich flavors and the joy and familiarity of Chinese comfort food centered on connections and bringing people together.

Inspired by elements of traditional Chinese design, we paired calligraphy strokes and textures with photos that showed the warmth of Filipino celebrations rooted in shared meals and close-knit gatherings. The posts included videos that injected humor and comedy to everyday life and dining experiences as well as posts that focused on the special dishes served at Majestic.

Every event poster combines the diverse energies of the activity, unique personalites of each maker, and the spirit of making itself. No two are alike. Some are chaotic, others minimal; some loud with color, others grounded in texture and tone. We lean into tactile elements—ripped paper edges, hand-drawn lines, grainy photos, layered textures—to reflect the physicality and imperfection of the creative process. Photographs are often integrated not just for content, but to add dimension, making the posters feel touchable, like something you could pull off a wall or collage into a sketchbook.

Some posters—like the 1-year anniversary set—were purposefully playful, channeling the messy excitement of a kid’s birthday party to honor the childlike instinct to make things. Others, like the one for Lukay, are more refined, because the design always meets what the moment and the mood calls for. From playful textures to tangible visuals, these posters celebrate the messy, tactile joy of making. The direction is to have fun, make stuff, and leave room for rough edges. Because making is never perfect - and that's the point.
