Prof. Dr. Astrid Bakker delivered an insightful talk on "Hormones affecting bone cell mechanosensitivity," while Dr. Stephen Flores presented on "Exploring Soft Matter through Surfactant Rheology and Self-Assembly."

The 3rd USC-VSU Biophysics Symposium featured a live virtual presentation from Prof. Dr. Shingo Matsukawa of Tokyo University of Marine Science & Technology. He's shared his research on "Physical properties of mixed carrageenan solutions from the structural scale down to the molecular level" at the VSU RDE Hall in Baybay City, Leyte.

At the 3rd USC-VSU Biophysics Symposium, representatives from the VSU Department of Physics and the Medical Biophysics Group (MBG) are conducting physics experiment demonstrations. VSU Associate Professor Jeffrey Lloyd Cagande is presenting a standing wave experiment, while Zachary Borromeo and Eliana Tenio (MBG) are showcasing 3D printing with polylactic acid (PLA).
