To Our Valued Clients and Community,
I would like to take a moment to respond with clarity and sincerity regarding a recent concern raised about our clinic's service.
Just this time, I knew why some people put others in a big blame. They seemed to refuse to understand the trials that came into their lives.
According to this mom, She was sent home because she’s still 3cm. Just stayed nearby in her cousin’s house. Actually, the OB-Gynecologists advised us to admit when the patient is already 6cm(before COVID-19). After COVID-19, they said that Gravida 1 (First Time Mom), Gravida 5, 35 years old are no longer allowed to be delivered by midwives only. It needs their presence to handle such cases but with an extra fee. When I advised you to do what is good for both of you and your baby, I asked you to tell a “white lies” so that you would be then attended to immediately, or if not, you would be refused and then be transferred to Talisay Hospital or VSMMC at Cebu City. E-referrals will take much time, sometimes 3-5 hours of waiting time. You mentioned that you have your own doppler so you’re pretty much aware of your baby’s condition and yours. Aren’t you thankful to God our Almighty Father for the chances He has given you? Before you were accepted in our clinic, haven’t you read and understood what you signed for? Others delivered in Hospitals with hundreds of doctors, nurses e.tc but still died during hospital delivery. You’re lucky you survived! Thanks God!
Please know that this clinic was not built for profit, but out of calling, service, and a deep faith in God's purpose. We recognize that not all outcomes are perfect, even in big hospitals, but we do our best with every birth we are entrusted with. I’m sorry for my staff’s attitude. I’ll talk to them.
You have a nice picture with your baby even if it came out Cesarean. What a gift!
May God bless you and your family.
With respect and humility,
