“The SLP (Sustainable Livelihood Program) empowered my family to meet our needs and support our children’s education. This opportunity has given us not only financial stability but also the confidence to move forward without relying on loans. We are proud to stand on our own and excited for the future programs of SOS for us.”

Spoken with deep gratitude and pride, these words from one of our SLP beneficiaries in Brgy. San Jose, Cebu City, reflects the journey of our Family Strengthening Program (FSP) families, growing in confidence, building stronger bonds, and finding hope together.

From selling p**o and bud-bud, vending fresh fish, running sari-sari stores, to offering frozen goods and beauty products, each business represents not just a source of income but a story of resilience. Participants also joined hands-on workshops to strengthen their financial literacy and learn practical ways to manage and grow their enterprises.

This milestone was made possible through the partnership and generous funding of Together We Can Change The World. We thank them for believing in our mission and helping us uplift more families toward self-reliance and hope.

The recognition was attended by the 12 proud SLP graduates, Barangay officials, and SOS staff.

Together, we can empower more families in our community. Partner with us and be part of creating sustainable change through the SLP.

Our athlete friends from the 3P TRI Team traveled from different corners of the globe, not just to visit, but to fill our village with laughter, energy, and, most importantly, the gift of education to our children.

From joining the games and distributing school supplies to making a generous cash donation, the group’s kindness extended not only to the children in our care but also to families participating in our Family Strengthening Program in Brgy. San Jose, Cebu City.

Truly, sports don’t just build endurance, they assemble communities, inspire dreams, and prove that limits can always be pushed a little further, like 3P Tri Team’s mission.

We believe in building a greener, kinder world for the next generation… a village that cares for the Earth is a village that teaches its children to be mindful, responsible, and future-ready. 🌳🏠

That is why we are beyond grateful to be chosen as the beneficiary of the Sacred Heart School Batch ‘73 Alumni Association for their visionary and generous Solar Power System Project. With their support, SOS Children’s Village Cebu is one step closer to becoming a fully green village!

The Memorandum of Agreement was signed last July 24, 2025, at Casa Español de Cebu, Cebu City, in the presence of alumni association members led by their president, Mr. Sonny Robins, along with Mr. Steven Ngo, our SOS Children’s Village Board of Trustees, and village staff.

The installation of the solar panels begins this September 2025, and we can't wait to bring you along every step of the way ☀️.

Let us create brighter futures together. Your organization can also be part of our Green Village Project, because every spark of support brings us closer to a cleaner tomorrow. 💚
