While we’d love to keep the hype going for the Freshie Welcoming, our focus now shifts to something more urgent such as the recent floods caused by 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 in 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼.

Over 90 families in the coastal areas have been affected, and they need our help. We are still accepting donations and the smallest amount can go a long way in bringing hope and relief.

As of Friday, July 18, 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 has officially been placed under a state of calamity due to the devastating floods brought by 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴. Widespread rainfall has led to extensive damage, displacement of families, and destruction of homes and infrastructure across several barangays.

In response, Alpha Mu Sigma Phi is launching an emergency relief drive to support our fellow Cebuanos in 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗖𝗼𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼, one of the hardest-hit communities. We aim to provide 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 to affected families.

In collaboration with 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟳 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 - 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂, Alpha Mu Sigma Phi successfully provided vital healthcare services, which comprised of tuli operations, dental check-ups and medical consultations, to 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮-𝗼, 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 last June 08, 2025.

A special thank you to our Alphan Brother, Dr. Arvin James Panuncillo (ΑΜΣΦ '12) for providing us this opportunity to serve and to Batch 2007 of Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu for making this outreach possible. Your generosity and commitment are an inspiration to us all.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗡𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗢𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 🚑🩺✂

In a remarkable display of service and solidarity, a medical outreach was conducted in 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼, 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂, made possible through the partnership of Alpha Mu Sigma Phi, the 𝗛𝗦 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, and a team of dedicated volunteers. This initiative provided free circumcision to 𝟮𝟮𝟲 young boys and offered 𝟭𝟬𝟴 medical consultations to members of the community last June 8, 2025, bringing healthcare to those who need it most.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Alphan brother and sister, Dr. Robert A. Sales (ΑΜΣΦ '91) and Dr. Ma. Geraldine R. Sales (ΑΜΣΦ '91), for entrusting us with the chance to serve, to Dr. John Rey Go (ΑΜΣΦ '11) for his commitment to serve by providing off-site consultations, and to Dr. Jan Erick E. Ilano (ΑΜΣΦ ‘19), for his impactful presence during the outreach.
