A 65-year-old man with a diagnosis of Chronic Coronary Syndrome presented to your clinic with complaints of intermittent chest pain. He has multiple cardiovascular risk factors, including a history of smoking, being overweight, dyslipidemia, diabetes, hypertension, a preference for high-fat and salty foods (such as lechon), and a sedentary lifestyle. He asks you whether he can avail with the free anti-pneumococcal vaccine given at the Rural Health Unit. How will you advise this patient? What other lifestyle interventions will you advise to manage his risk factors?
