When it comes to child safety, being ready matters!

The FUN staff stepped out of the therapy room and into life-saving mode during their 2-day BLS and First Aid training sessions which helped them with the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly in critical situations, ensuring the highest standard of care and safety for the children they serve. 🧸⛑️🩹

FUNdamentals Pediatric Therapy Center and the Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc., which is a non-profit foundation working for the causes of disadvantaged children — have been collaborating the past few months to assess what the foundation needs to help their children and to be able to address both physical and emotional challenges, focus on rebuilding their trust, improving sensory processing, and developing skills for a more independent way of living.

3 of our OTs, T. Pria, T. Tine, and T. Dani went on site to evaluate some of the children and discuss to the teachers, social workers, and house parents on how to best help the kids. 💙🧡🩵

On World Autism Awareness Day, let’s embrace the infinite possibilities and celebrate the uniqueness, strengths, and talents of individuals with autism. We should continue to break down barriers of misconception and stigma, and promote a world that embraces and supports all individuals.
