Today’s coordination meeting with the project management team marks another important step forward in the continued development of Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC). With clear alignment on timelines, stronger coordination, and defined next steps, we stay focused on accelerating progress toward completion.

Dili lang ni about sa building, kundi sa pagpalig-on sa public health system nga people-centered ug responsive sa tinuod nga panginahanglan sa katawhan. Ang CCMC gihulma aron mahimong ospital nga duol sa tao, accessible, ug andam mohatag og kalidad nga serbisyo sa tanang Sugboanon.

Sa matag lihok ug desisyon, atong giprioritize ang kaayohan sa tanan, because at the heart of this project is a shared goal: better healthcare, stronger systems, ug mas maayong kaugmaon.

The Cebu City Government and the Philippine National Police (PNP) enhanced their partnership on public safety following a courtesy visit on April 22, 2026, at Cebu City Hall.

Arnold E. Abad, newly designated Regional Director of Philippine National Police Regional Office 7, together with George V. Ylanan of the Cebu City Police Office, paid a courtesy call to Nestor D. Archival at the Office of the City Mayor.

The meeting focused on reinforcing coordination between the local government and law enforcement agencies to ensure the efficient delivery of public safety services. Both parties discussed strategies to sustain peace and order, strengthen community-based security initiatives, and enhance the implementation of policing programs across Cebu City.

Mayor Archival expressed full support for the leadership of PBGEN Abad and reaffirmed the city’s commitment to close collaboration with the PNP. Discussions also covered preparations for upcoming city events, logistical coordination, and measures to sustain long-term cooperation between the two institutions.

The visit concluded with a renewed commitment from both the Cebu City Government and the PNP to work together in promoting peace, order, and safety for all Cebuanos.

Sa dihang miigo ang sunog sa Pahina Central, dali kitang nitabang sa 26 ka mga pamilya nga naapektuhan, naghatag og materyales ug mga basic nga panginahanglan aron makasugod sila pag-usab. Dili lang kini bahin sa ayuda, kundi sa paghatag og paglaum ug pagbangon sa matag pamilya.

The drainage retention tank project, three years in the making, is finally reaching completion, bringing a long-term solution to flooding in the area.

Dili na ni temporary fix. This is a concrete step toward safer streets, better drainage, and greater peace of mind for every resident in the community.

Behind every meal on our tables are the quiet sacrifices of our farmers.

Grateful to be part of this effort where 1,489 farmers from Cebu City’s upland barangays received ₱2,325 each through the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolks (PAFF). Dili lang ni financial aid, it’s a way of recognizing their hard work and reminding them that their efforts matter to the whole community.

Everyday, they face heat, rain, and uncertainty, yet padayon gihapon sila para masiguro nga adunay pagkaon ang matag pamilya. Let’s continue to support and uplift our farmers, because when we take care of them, we take care of our future.
