TRIBUNE NEWS (Aug. 28, 2023) - Davao City opened a new round of vaccination August 26 at the People's Park, administering third booster for senior citizens, healthcare workers, persons with comorbidities and those living with them.

City Health Office (CHO) Technical Division chief Dr. Julinda Acosta said the vaccination drive will continue Monday to Friday, at People’s Park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. "This is for the first, second, and third booster doses for eligible individuals," she said.

Dr. Acosta also said the 18 CHO health districts will continue administering vaccines in their areas of jurisdiction every Friday.

TRIBUNE NEWS (July 3, 2023) - Sarangani Provincial Hospital (SPH) will “move forward to Level 2.”

“It is not a question, but a mandate,” SPH Chief of Hospital Dr. Aileen Brion told the hospital staff during its anniversary celebration on June 29, as she recalled the challenges and success littered through the past five years.

As a Level 1 facility, SPH can operate on emergency and elective cases. A Level 2 hospital, meanwhile, contains all the elements of Level 1, as well as additional facilities like an ICU for critically ill patients and specialist doctors for gynecology and pediatric services.
