Regular drills help staff respond more quickly and effectively in emergency situations. It will also help identify and mitigate potential risks,reducing the likelihood of injury or harm.

Day 1 - Hospital Disaster Preparedness and Recovery Program.

The Health Emergency Management Staff (HEMS) of ISPH Gabriela Silang,in partnership with Bureau of Fire Protection Vigan City and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Ilocos Sur conducted lectures on How to conduct earthquake drill,Fire safety seminar and Role of Hospital in mass casualty management.

The obejctive of this lecture is to improve Hospital resilience to disasters and emergencies. This will also enhance patient safety during disasters and improve disaster preparedness,recovery plans and procedures.
