KABABAIHAN: Sandigan ng Lipunan 2026 💜
A Comprehensive Women’s Health Caravan

Empowering women starts with ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. Through the joint efforts of the City Health Office of Vigan City, the Vigan People’s council through its health arm -the Ilocos Sur Medical Society, DOH, PHO, FPOGS, MSN Eye Center, NGOs, and various government offices, this initiative brought essential services directly to the community.

Women were able to avail of FREE services such as cervical cancer screening (VIA), breast examination, bone and stress screening, basic health check-ups, eye care consultations, and social service assistance from SSS, PhilHealth, and Phil. Statistics Authority.

The caravan also created a space for learning and self-care through health talks on menopause and mental health, a calming chair yoga session, and the distribution of wellness kits.

Because when women are cared for and empowered, they continue to stand as the true foundation of every family and community. 💜
