Various barangay activities have been lined up to raise awareness about nutrition and encourage them to stay healthy.

One of these activities was the nutrition-themed costume contest for pre-school pupils. The students were attired as fruits,vegetables and made out of recycled materials showing off so much creativity. They, together with their parents walked into the stage proudly flaunted their outfits. Not only did the students enjoy the activity but also learned an important lesson that fruits and vegetables are necessary in strengthening the body's immune system.

Thank you to our Brgy. Captain Nelson F. Vivit, the Brgy. Council, to our panel board of judges headed by Federated BNS President Junette Ponce, and to our parents/guardians of our day care pupils for their endless support in nutrition programmes.

Barangay Nutrition Committee of Cabaroan Laud continues to advocate for health and wellness through its Healthy Baon Contest held today July 14, 2025, in line with the celebration of Nutrition Month 2025 with the theme "Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority, Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!"

Day Care Pupils of Cabaroan Laud, together with the full support of our Dear Parents showcased their creativity and knowledge in preparing nutritious, balanced baon/snack using affordable and locally available ingredients.

This activity did not only promote healthy eating habits but also empowered kids to make informed food choices and embrace the value of food security and nutrition in their daily lives.

A big thanks to our Judges headed by Maam Irish Agueran, Brgy. Captain Nelson Vivit, Bgry. Council Committee on Health Joselito Rodriguez, and Ms. Marie Francia Apelin. ❤️🫶
