The first drive was a tremendous success, with significant participation from faculty, staff, and students, all contributing to the health and well-being of those in need. We believe that continuing this initiative will further strengthen our university’s impact on the community and underscore our dedication to social responsibility.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council (CASSC) reaffirms its commitment to promoting mental health and breaking the stigma surrounding su***de. Through their "CASangga ni CASmates" project, the council aims to create a supportive community where students can openly discuss their feelings and seek help when needed.

This year’s theme, “𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚,” emphasizes the importance of breaking down barriers and encouraging open conversations about mental health. As Councillor Cecilia Motley, cabinet member for adult social care and public health, aptly stated, "We must shift the conversation around su***de and encourage people to share their feelings openly."
