Concepcion Primary Care Facility , in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and the Provincial Veterinary Office, proudly celebrates World Rabies Day last September 18, 2025,with the theme:
“Act Now: You, Me Community”

🐶You- Take action in your personal life : vaccinate your dog, educate your self about how to prevent rabies and Pre- and Post -exposure prophylaxis
🐱Me - Lead by exampke: inspire others, train professionals or support rabies elimination efforts in your community
🏠Community- Work Together: organizevaccination campaigns, educate learners and thier families, and push for stronger rabies elimination programs.

🚻✨ BYAHENG GRADE 2 — BASIC SANITATION LEVEL: Barangay Nino, Concepcion, Iloilo! ✨🚻

Our team just wrapped up the pre-assessment for Barangay Nino journey toward Grade 2 BASIC SANITATION LEVEL of the PHILIPPINE APPROACH TO SUSTAINABLE SANITATION (PhATSS) and we’re happy to report that the community is on the right track! ✅

📌 Highlights:
✔ 100% of households have access to sanitary toilets
✔ No signs of open defecation
✔ Functional handwashing stations in most homes 🧼👏
✔ Ongoing hygiene promotion by BHWs and officials
✔ Safe disposal of child f***s is improving! 👶🚽

🔍 A few areas to work on:
➡ Proper wastewater (gray water) disposal
➡ Consistent availability of soap near toilets
➡ Waste segregation per household

💡 With a little push and teamwork, Barangay Nino is well on its way to Grade 2 ZOD certification!

A huge congratulations to Nicole Manderico Salsona, our newest Pharmacist II, who took her oath today! 🥂 We're thrilled to have Nicole join the Concepcion LGU and Primary Care Facility family.

Concepcion is one of the few LGUs to recognize the vital role of a Pharmacist in our primary care setting. Nicole will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient supply chain logistics management of medicines and medical supplies, providing crucial pharmaceutical care, and promoting rational drug use within our community. Her expertise will significantly enhance the health services we provide.
