We were honored to welcome the delegation from Buenavista Community College as they visited Bohol Island State University – Main Campus Clinic for a benchmarking activity. This meaningful visit was more than just a tour—it was a celebration of shared goals, professional growth, and the strengthening of inter-campus relationships in the service of public health and student welfare.

The benchmarking activity served as a platform for open dialogue, best practice sharing, and mutual discovery. We proudly walked our guest through the clinic’s daily operations, health programs, and the various support services we provide to our university community. From first aid procedures to our preventive health initiatives, from the clinic facilities to our documentation system, we shared what we’ve built through years of dedication and teamwork.

It was a privilege to exchange insights with equally passionate health professionals from Buenavista Community College, who showed sincere interest, asked thoughtful questions, and generously shared their own experiences as well. These conversations inspired reflection on how far we’ve come—and the many ways we can all improve.

This benchmarking activity reminded us that in the field of campus health, we are never working in isolation. We are part of a larger network of institutions that are all striving to provide the best possible care to our students, faculty, and staff. With each exchange like this, we become better equipped to meet challenges and elevate the standards of health services across campuses.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Buenavista Community College for choosing BISU Main Campus as their benchmarking site. May this be the beginning of more collaborations and continued partnerships in the future. 🌿

🤝 Together, let’s continue to raise the bar for student wellness and institutional readiness.

While protein is essential for muscle repair and satiety, excess intake can backfire. Consuming too much—especially from processed meats or shakes—can lead to calorie surplus, strain the kidneys, and even get stored as fat. Your body only needs a certain amount to function optimally, and beyond that, more doesn't always mean better. Overdoing it may also push out important nutrients from fruits, veggies, and whole grains.

✅ Balance is key: fuel your body, not overload it.

Although many of your patients may think that increasing protein is the key to fat loss and successful weight management, there’s a consensus in the medical community that patients should be aware that there can, indeed, be too much of a good thing. Excessive protein intake may harm weight loss patients through kidney strain and cardiovascular risks. http://ms.spr.ly/6184ShMxk
