Level 1 Provider’s Course,
they have satisfactorily completed the requirements set forth by the Kangaroo Mother Care Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. in partnership with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, Save The Children, USAID, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA Philippines) & Department of Health.
This training program aims to be cascaded to all the DOH facilities in accordance with the
🤱 AO 2009-0025 initiated Unang Yakap, a protocol comprised of four time-bound interventions. These are immediate drying, uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact, delayed cord clamping and early initiation of breastfeeding and
📌 Universal Health Care Law RA 11148
1st 1000 days Act that aims to intensify delivery of nutrition interventions and services for the first 1,000 days of life, dubbed as the “golden window of opportunity” for the optimal development of a child.
