Our Family Planning Kick-Off Ceremony was a success! 💙

With the theme: “Tandaan, Panalo ang Pamilyang Planado! Tara, Usap Tayo sa Family Planning”, we officially launched this year’s FP Program with strong support from our partners such as the JCI-Cotabato, Kalbe and TAISHO Pharmaceutical, health workers, and the community.

🙏 Thank you to everyone who joined us and showed their commitment to building healthier families and brighter futures. Together, let’s continue promoting responsible parenthood and reproductive health.

𝐓𝐖𝐎-𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

In celebration of National Lung Month and National TB Day, the Cotabato City Health Office through the National Tuberculosis Program, Social Hygiene Clinic, and Anti-Smoking/COPD Program, in partnership with MOH, PBSP, and JCI Cotabato, spearheaded a 2-day Active Case Finding activity on August 19-20,2025.

Free Chest X-ray, free HIV screening, and health education were offered in Barangays Rosary Heights III, Rosary Heights IV, and Old City Hall to bring health services closer to the community. A total of 409 individuals benefited from free Chest X-rays while 179 availed of the free HIV screening.

This initiative highlights our commitment to early detection, prevention, and education in the fight against TB, HIV, and chronic lung diseases—paving the way for healthier lungs and healthier communities.

The Cotabato City Health Office mourns for his death and extends its deepest condolences to his bereaved family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace.

May katanungan ba kayo tungkol sa pagkuha o pag-renew ng Sanitary Permit?

Ayon sa CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2430, Series of 2004 o ang "ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SANITATION CODE OF COTABATO CITY", kinakailangan ng Sanitary Permit mula sa City Health Officer ang mga indibidwal na mayroong business establishment para sila ay makapag-operate sa Lungsod ng Cotabato.
