Paano nangyayari ang DKA or Diabetic Ketoacidosis sa Type 1 at Type 2 Diabetes.

First alamin muna natin pano nag wowork ang insulin.

Pag kumaen ang isang tao, mako convert ang food, specially carbs into simple form, which is Glucose, ang gagawin ng pancreas mo mag lalabas ng insulin, yung insulin ang mag su susi sa muscle cells mo at mag papa pasok nito sa loob para magamit bilang energy.

Second paano na po produce ang ketones.

Pag wala kang carbs or glucose, mag a undergo ang katawan mo ng process na tinatawag na KETOSIS, i ko convert ng katawan mo ang fats sa glucose pero meron itong ibang product na tinatawag na ketones, isa itong acidic substance, pag nag accumulate ka ng ketones mauuwi ito sa DKA.

So paano ito nangyayari sa Type 1?

Nangyayari ito pag nag stop ang patient ng insulin, dahil walang ibang paraan ang katawan na papasukin ang glucose sa cells. Ma mi misinterpret ng katawan na wala kang pinasok na glucose so mag a undergo ang katawan ng KETOSIS, which may lead to Ketones Accumulation, then DKA.

Paano naman sa Type 2?

Nangyayari ito kapag nag LCIF at Keto diet ka. Same principles pag wala kang carbs, i ko convert ng katawan mo ang fats to glucose, mag a accumulate ng ketones, then DKA.

So to summarize

Nangyayari ang DKA hindi dahil sa sobrang taas na sugar kundi dahil sa ka kulangan ng SUGAR sa loob ng cells na nag ko cause ng KETOSIS.

Zero to low carb = KETOSIS = KETONES = DKA

Kaya uminom ka ng gamot at mag inject ng insulin kung ayaw mo ma DKA.
