NO CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER ON EID’L FITR - CIATF

After a series of discussions with the members of the City Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19, it is with regret that the CIATF has decided to discourage Cotabateños from conducting congregational prayers on the celebration of the Eid’l Fitr.

The City Government of Cotabato will not be holding a congregational prayer at the People’s Palace grounds.

Despite our MGCQ status in Cotabato City, we cannot guarantee that the allowed 30% capacity of every venue, and physical distancing, will be followed thereby increasing the risk of spreading the virus. As you can see in our daily COVID tracker, our cases increase by the day and we record COVID-related deaths every week here in our city.

Our COVID-19 referral hospital is overwhelming with patients, with some of its regular wards already converted into COVID-19 wards.

Adding to this concern is the recent news that the heavily contagious COVID-19 variant that has originated in India has already entered our country.

We appeal to all our Muslim brothers and sisters to perform our Eid prayers in our respective homes so we can be safe with our families and loved ones. We ask for your utmost understanding and we hope that we will continue to follow all our minimum health protocols.

“Lifting the No Movement Sunday on April 11, 2021”

Yesterday night the Cotabato City Inter-Agency Task Force had deliberated and decided to lift the “no movement policy” for the incoming Sunday.

Ang desisyon po na ito ay para mabigyan ng kaukulang oras na makapaghanda ang ating mga kapatid na muslim sa parating na “Holy Month of Ramadan.”

Mabibigyan din po ng opportunidad ang ating mga “pilgrims” sa christian faith na bumisita sa mga Jubilee Churches upang makakuha at mabigyan ng “Plenary Indulgence”.

Muli po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyong kooperasyon at tulong. Nakikiusap kaming muli na patuloy po nating obserbahan ang proper health protocols.

Please stop spreading false information. There is only one way of wearing a surgical face mask or simple face mask.

COLORED SIDE OUT

Why?

Surgical face masks has three layers:
1st) Non-Woven Layer (water repellant layer) -colored
2nd) Meltblown Non-Woven Layer ( acts as filter)
3rd) Soft Fiber Layer ( water absorbent) - white

You should always wear your mask with the white side touching your face. It is made for your own comfort. It is soft and water absorbent. That layer should absorb the v***r/ droplets/saliva of the wearer.

Colored side should be worn facing outward to prevent droplets and water particles to soak into the filter layer at the middle.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS WEARING IT WHITE OR COLORED OUT IF YOU ARE SICK OR NOT.

Mag-a-upgrade po tayo ng system upang mapag-isa natin ang sistemang ginagamit ng Region XII sa atin.

BUT NOT TO WORRY! Hindi niyo na po kailangan na mag-apply pa ulit para sa bagong Digital ID. Parehong QR code pa din po ang gagamitin natin, gamit lamang ang ibang format.

I-save lang ang digital image ng inyong ID sa inyong mga cellphone habang inaantay natin ang bagong itsura ng ating mga ID.

Sa mga hindi pa naman nakaparehistro, nagtalaga ang inyong lokal na pamahalaan ng REGISTRATION AREA sa People's Palace Grounds. Prayoridad natin ANG MGA WALANG SMARTPHONES o WALANG KAKAYAHANG MAGREHISTRO ONLINE.
