I always get asked if coffee is okay if one has hypertension or taking other medications. As a coffee drinker myself, I limit my coffee to once per day. I also ask patients to limit coffee, softdrinks, milk tea and caffeinated drinks if they have palpitations, thyroid disease or stomach acidity.
