The Region 1 Medical Center – Department of Orthopedics, in collaboration with AO Trauma Philippines, proudly hosted a comprehensive AO-In-Hospital Training Workshop for Operating Room Personnel.

Held at the R1MC FQD hall, the event was attended by a dynamic group of OR nurses, surgical techs, and orthopedic residents. Participants engaged in lectures, hands-on sessions, and skill-building exercises focused on improving surgical outcomes through standardized AO techniques in fracture management.

Despite the overwhelming patient load they face every day, our hardworking residents at the Region 1 Medical Center - Department of Orthopedics have shown unwavering dedication to advancing knowledge in the field. 🩺📚

They have not only excelled in patient care but also managed to complete and present their research at the 98th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association held last May 22-25, 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
