“𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕” (Tyaga lang)
Perlita, 76, from Aguilar, has to wake up early together with her daughter and travel at 6:00 AM just to arrive on time at The Medical City Pangasinan for her chemotherapy.
More than a year ago, Perlita was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent breast surgery and has since continued her chemotherapy sessions at The Medical City Pangasinan. Even though she lives far from Dagupan, she chooses to remain under the care of Dra. Sharon Sandoval. The road has not been easy, but her strength and faith keep her moving forward.
Despite the long travel and pain, she finds hope, comfort, and belonging, as the warmth of the doctors and staff makes every visit a little lighter and every step toward recovery a little brighter.
Up to now, Perlita continues her chemotherapy with unwavering faith. Each session brings her closer to healing — and every prayer, every act of courage, is a reminder of her words:
“𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒂” or (tyaga lang talaga)
