Proud moment for our department as former Chief Resident Dr. Abigail Montes presented her research entitled “Perioperative Care Practices and Antibiotic Prophylaxis in Cataract Surgery Among Ophthalmologists in Northwestern Luzon” at the Asia-Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society Meeting, held in conjunction with the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Congress. This work contributes to the advancement of evidence-based ophthalmic practice, not only in Northwestern Luzon but potentially across the entire Philippines. 👁️✨

🌍💙 World Diabetes Day: Protektahan ang Iyong Paningin! 💙👁️

✔ Magpa-dilated eye exam kahit isang beses kada taon
✔ Panatilihing kontrolado ang blood sugar, blood pressure, at cholesterol
✔ Iwasan ang paninigarilyo
✔ Kumonsulta agad kung biglang nagbago ang paningin

Mahalaga ang iyong paningin.
Ngayong World Diabetes Day, gawin ang simpleng hakbang na makapagliligtas ng paningin — magpacheck ng mata.

💙 Maagang pagkilala = masagip na paningin.
💙 Malusog na mata, mas magandang buhay.
