Today our toddlers wowed us with their 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪 𝘤𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, jumped into 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺, and explored 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘶𝘯. 🍿🤹‍♂️🎠

Every giggle, clap, and curious peek was more than play. It was confidence, creativity, and learning in action. 🌟

Our toddlers are in for a week of wonder, giggles, and big top fun as we bring the magic of the carnival into the playroom! From pretend play to hands-on activities, every moment is a chance to explore, imagine, and learn — the UpKidz way 🌟

𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑽𝒆𝒕 𝑪𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌 — but the lessons our junior veterinarians gained will continue to grow with them long after. ✨

Through pretend play, our toddlers stepped into the role of caregivers. They fed their “pets,” comforted their fluffy patients, and proudly took on the important job of being a little doctor.

Each moment of diagnosing, treating, or caring sparked their language as they explained what their “patient” needed. Each game of guessing and problem-solving stretched their thinking and imagination. Each gentle pat or careful “check-up” taught them how to be kind, compassionate, and attentive to others’ needs.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 — lessons that don’t just fill the day, but shape the kind of person they’re becoming. 🧡

So as we close Vet Clinic Week with grateful hearts and lots of happy memories, we also look forward with excitement. Another round of fun, laughter, and meaningful learning awaits under the big top! 🎪

When we sit one-on-one with a child during our tutorial sessions, we see things that can be easy to miss in a busy classroom:The way their eyes light up when they finally understand.The little furrow in their brow when they’re figuring something out.The quiet pride when they whisper, “𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵.”

In these moments, learning feels deeply personal.
✨ We get to move at their pace — faster when they’re ready, slower when they need time.
✨ We get to tailor lessons to their unique interests, making each activity feel exciting and relevant.
✨ We get to encourage not just academic skills, but the courage to try, fail, and try again.

At first glance, 𝐕𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 might look like a room full of toddlers playing with toy animals. But look closer, and you’ll see something special happening. ✨

You’ll see:
🐶 A little one describing a puppy’s “fever” — practicing new words and building communication skills.
🩻 Another looking at an X-ray and deciding, “He needs food!” — making connections and solving problems.
🩹 Gentle hands wrapping a pretend bandage — learning empathy and care.
🩺 Friends working together to run their “clinic” — practicing teamwork and turn-taking.

Our newest preschool friend, 𝑰𝒌𝒆𝒚, just powered up another year with a 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤–𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣! 🏰 Surrounded by friends, laughter, balloons, and sweet birthday treats, his day was pure star power! ⭐

A big 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 to Ikey’s amazing parents for letting us join his special day and for trusting us to be part of his preschool adventure. We can’t wait to watch him collect more coins of joy, grow like a Super Mushroom, and shine like a Starman here at UpKidz! 💛💙

𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒔𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒈𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍-𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 💫✍️

Our preschoolers had so much fun with 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 today — and let’s just say, the lines weren’t the only thing straightening out. Their concentration, grip, and confidence are leveling up too! 🎯

Every twist and turn was like a mini obstacle course for their pencils, and our little champs nailed it with determination (and a few jumps and giggles in between). 🖍️✨

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐬! 😻

Our junior vets were back in action — ready to wag, wiggle, and work their magic on every furry friend in the clinic! 🩺

First, they warmed up with the 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, moving like their favorite pets — some fast, some slow, all adorable! 🐢🐇 Then, they took on the 𝗫-𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲, using their “animal instincts” to figure out who needed care 🩻

Finally, they got down to “purr-fessional” work in our 𝗩𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 — taking turns as the doctor, the nurse, and even the pet owner. They bandaged “broken paws,” gave “purr-scriptions,” and offered lots of tender loving care. Every patient was treated with gentleness, kindness, and just the right dose of giggles 💓

And here’s the 𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭-𝘦𝘯𝘥 of it: while they thought they were just playing, they were really practicing empathy, communication, and the beautiful art of caring for others. Pretend play like this turns a toy stethoscope into a tool for building confidence, compassion, and connection — skills that will last far longer than any pretend appointment.

We left today with happy hearts, healthy “patients,” and a reminder that 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒆. 🐾

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬!

Our preschoolers dove into a very important topic today—𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀. They learned about:
💪🏻 The basic needs our body needs to grow strong
🍎 Healthy habits we can do every day
🧼 The proper way to wash our hands (because clean hands are happy hands!)

We talked, we practiced, and we even sang along as we learned why our health is something we can protect through small, daily choices.

To make it even more special, our lesson ended with a 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘯𝘪𝘤-𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 — each child enjoying their healthy bento with classmates, sharing giggles, stories, and even a few nutritious bites! 🥦🍓

Because learning about health doesn’t just happen in the classroom… 𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧.

From the moment they walked in, it felt like no time had passed at all. The way they joined the fun, shared their laughter, and dove right into play reminded us of just how much joy they bring to our mornings.

Welcoming returning students is always heartwarming — it means our little ones carry with them memories of happy days here, and we get the chance to grow together all over again 💫

Today, our toddlers clocked in for their very first shift at the 𝐔𝐩𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐳 𝐕𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜! 🩺🐾

🐱 They listened to animal “patients” and guessed their sounds.
🐶 They stocked up on pet essentials in our pretend shop.
🐰 They served the fluffiest (and furriest) clients their meals with care.

𝙐𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨?
They were learning patience, communication, and empathy— the same skills that help them build friendships, express feelings, and care for the world around them. 🐩🐈🦜

Day 1 was just the beginning. The clinic is open all week, and our little vets are ready for their next duty!
