Our toddlers rolled up their sleeves (and big imaginations!) as we kicked off our deliciously fun theme! 😋

𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮’𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙪:
🍕 Learning the 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮
🧑‍🍳 Pretend play as 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘀—rolling, sprinkling, topping!
🧀 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 to friends with lots of cheesy smiles

More than just play, this activity helped children practice 𝘴𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨, strengthen 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴, and learn the 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 with friends. 🌟

What a fun first slice of the week and it’s only the beginning! We can’t wait to see what’s on the menu tomorrow 😉

Our toddlers will be rolling, sprinkling, and topping their way through 𝑷𝒊𝒛𝒛𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌 👩‍🍳🧀 From floury fingers to cheesy smiles, we’re mixing play, learning, and just the right amount of fun!

Our toddlers wrapped up 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 with pride, laughter, and colorful creations that lit up our playroom. 🖼️🖌️

The beauty of this week wasn’t in the “perfect” art, but in the process—the messy, joyful, giggle-filled kind of learning that helps children grow in imagination and confidence. 🌈🎨

For young children, art is more than just play. It’s how they explore feelings, make choices, and express ideas that words can’t yet capture. These little moments remind us that in early childhood, learning is not just about the outcome—it’s about the joyful journey of discovery. ✨

And as we clean up the brushes and put away the paints, we’re already preparing for something just as exciting. Here’s a little clue: next week, our art won’t just stay on paper… it might end up on a plate, too—sprinkled, sliced, and served with plenty of cheesy smiles! 😉🍕

🎨👩‍🎨 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙮! 👨‍🎨🖌️

This week at our Toddlers Playgroup, the classroom turned into a studio filled with messy hands, colorful splashes, big smiles, and even bigger imaginations. 🌈✨

To an adult’s eyes, it may look like simple scribbles or random strokes of paint. But in early childhood, these little experiments are 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭. Each line, swirl, and dab tells a story—one of discovery, expression, and growth.

Art gives toddlers a safe space to express feelings they cannot yet put into words. It strengthens their little hands for writing one day, sharpens their eyes for patterns and details, and builds the confidence to say, “𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦!” 💖 More importantly, it teaches them that their ideas matter, that their creativity has value, and that making a mess is often the first step toward making something meaningful.

Here in UpKidz, we don’t just cheer for the “masterpiece” on paper—we celebrate the process that brought it to life: the laughter, the choices, the experiments, the courage to try again. 🔺🔵🟩 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 🟨⚪⭐

Today in our Preschool class, our little learners became 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴! 🕵️‍♀️✨ They searched, sorted, and connected different shapes—then discovered how they come together to make fun patterns. From circles and triangles to zigzags and stripes, our classroom turned into a colorful puzzle of creativity and learning. 🎨

Learning shapes and patterns isn’t just about recognizing forms—it’s building the foundation for math, problem-solving, and even creativity. 💡 And most importantly, our kids had so much fun while doing it! 💛

At UpKidz, every activity is a playful step towards brighter thinking. 🌟

𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀. 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀. 𝗚𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱. That’s what our playgroup looked like today—and honestly? That’s the kind of “𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴” we’ll always welcome! 🎨

With popsicle sticks, clay, and food coloring, our 𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒔 created their own little masterpieces. They mixed, molded, and built with boundless imagination. To them, the classroom was a canvas—and everything was possible! And while the artwork was amazing, the 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙘 was in what we didn’t see: their fine motor skills strengthening, their problem-solving growing, their creativity shining. ✨

Because here at 𝐔𝐩𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐳, “messy play” isn’t really messy at all—it’s learning in its happiest, most colorful form. 🌈

One of the greatest joys for us at UpKidz Dagupan is hearing how our families see and feel the environment we’ve created together. 💛

𝑰𝒗𝒚’𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒎 recently shared how her daughter comes alive in the playgroup—eager to paint, color, trace, paste, and write. To her, these aren’t just activities. They’re little windows where her child gets to be hands-on, expressive, and free to create.

But what touched us most was what she noticed behind those activities: the way each child is known individually, the way teachers pause to sit beside them, guiding them, making sure that they don’t just finish a task but truly understand and enjoy it. ✨

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐩𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐳. We don’t just fill a room with worksheets and toys. We nurture an environment where children feel safe, welcome, and encouraged—where play and learning are woven together in a way that allows every child to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Every time a child holds a pencil, they are strengthening the tiny muscles in their fingers and hands. Those muscles, though small, will one day help them write their name with pride, tie their shoelaces without asking for help, button their shirts before school, or carefully hold a spoon during dinner. What looks like “just tracing” is really preparation for independence. 🌟

Every time they follow the lines of a letter, they are practicing focus and patience. Tracing is not about rushing; it’s about steady hands, careful eyes, and the courage to try again when the line wobbles or the pencil slips. It teaches children that learning takes time, and that every little mistake is part of the journey forward.

And every time they look up with that wide smile—the smile that says “𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵!”—they are building confidence. A traced letter is never just a letter. It’s a child discovering the joy of achievement, the pride of finishing something they thought was hard, and the belief that effort leads to growth. Today, our toddlers learned that art isn’t just about paint and brushes—it’s about expression, discovery, and joy. 🎨

We toured our own 𝐔𝐩𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐳 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦, where every child’s work was displayed with pride. Then came the highlight: making their own art, letting their little hands move freely across paper, canvas, and color. 🌈

And of course, no artist’s journey is complete without a bit of messy painting fun—because sometimes the best creations come from the freedom to explore. Bees may be tiny, but they do such important work—building hives, collecting nectar, creating honey, and caring for their community. This week, our toddlers stepped into that role, and in their own playful way, they practiced the same things: working together, sharing with friends, and finding joy in little tasks that lead to something sweet. 🐝🍯

Through pretend play, imagination and sensory exploration, our little ones weren’t just having fun—they were strengthening their hands, minds, and hearts. That’s the beauty of early learning: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
