The Department of Health declared December 4 to 8, 2023, as ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Consciousness Week. This week, we raise awareness in the importance of early detection, prevention, and treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases.

We, the R1MC Department of ORL-HNS firmly believes that research provides an avenue towards better understanding of the various elements that surround our medical community.

In line with this, we would like to congratulate our very own, Dr. Johann M. Wi, on the successful presentation of his paper entitled, "Review of Effectiveness of the EMR system of R1MC Among its OPD Personnel", on the recently concluded Research Dissemination Forum 2023 by the R1MC Research Development & Management Center, held today at Caraos Hall, OPD Building, Region 1 Medical Center.
