Upgrade your identity

When I embarked my personal development journey, I thought I was looking to find myself again, but I realized I was creating myself and building myself up.
Along the way there were many decisions I had to make for myself, and many time those decision weren’t able to please everyone, and that’s ok. I’ve learned it is OK to give up the good to go for the great. I don’t need permission and ask if I can head to where I’m going, but announce I’m showing up. It’s actually good that I’m making mistakes and moving in speed, because every time I fail I grow, it’s much better to move forward than stay at the same spot.
I learned I don’t needed to get it right the first time, and every step of the way, I just become more clear. Truth means different to everyone, and that’s just the way of life. It’s no my job to please everyone, but my job to lead myself.
I’ve gone through a few identity shifts, and everytime I shift, I have learned to trust my intuition, the voice inside me. Faith is knowing things always workout for the greater and better even when it doesn’t look like it, I am ok living with this because I know God has bigger plans for me. Every level of shift I make in my frequency, new level of people come into my life. And because I know the law of supply, the world is my oyster, and there’s abundant opportunity for growth. That’s why I embrace rejection, every rejection is my redirection, it’s god showing me the way.

I know all the pain,and the truama I’ve endured happened for me for a reason. My life is not about my life, it’s about how many lives I can touch.

Never ask yourself am I worthy of my goal, ask yourself is my goal worthy of me ❤️ Empower yourself and allow your calling to speak to you.

Thank God it's Monday. Time to sell again. Are you one of those who say "Selling is not for everyone yet you are in a job?" Well selling is not just about selling products but services too. In a job you sell your services to your boss who then sell them at a higher rate and make profits. Meaning you can also directly sell your services but many of us lack the courage. Arthur Miller said "The only thing you got in the world is what you can sell. And the funny thing is, you're a sales man, and you don't know that."

Brian Tracey said "Selling is a gainful profession. In sales there is no ceiling on your income. If you are properly trained, skilled and selling the right product in the right market, there is no limit to the amount of money you can make." However there is an exception to this. If you are selling your time for Money, there will be a limit to the amount you will make because time is Limited. We can only have 24 hours in a day the more reason why people who exchange their time for money in a job get limited income. That is Jim Rohn said" Profits are better than wages."

There is nothing wrong with exchanging time for money but why should you continue something that is limited. There is nothing wrong with being an en employee but at some point you have to become an employer. The problem is not unemployment, the problem is we have left this responsibility to other people. We think the world owes us Jobs. Mark Twain said " The world owes you nothing, it was here before you." It is your responsibility as well to make the world better when you notice a problem. Mahatma Gandhi said "Be the Change you want to see in the world ." Albert Ellis said it even better "the best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.You don't blame them on your mother, the ecology or the president. You realised that you can control your destiny."

Remember that life is about choices and if you decide to exchange your time for Money in a job , put in your best because that is someone's business. If you don't the same will happen to you when you start your own business. Don't let the fact that you don't like your job affect someone's business negatively. You have a choice. Jim Rohn said "If you don't like where you are, move you are not a stone ."There are only two things you can do, either you work on your dreams or be hired as labour to build someone's dream. If you are hired just make sure you don't do it all your active years of your life. Your dreams also need your energy. If you can give your boss 8 hours in a day to help build his dream and fail to give your dreams one hour, you are very uninspired and you need to check your "WHY". Micheal Hyatt said "When you know your WHY, you will find your WAY."

To live is the rarest thing in the world, most people just exist.(Oscar Wilde). Just because you are alive doesn't mean you are living. Just because you are breathing doesn't mean you are living. Just because you are wealthy doesn't mean you are living. Benjamin Franklin said "Some people die at 25 and aren't buried"

There was a known wealthy man who killed himself and a friend quickly called me and asked why someone that wealthy would end their life. Everything that was created was created for a purpose and as a human being your first mission in life is to discover your purpose. That is what will bring you fullfilment in this life. Money is numbers and numbers are infinity and if that is all you choose to chase you will spend your whole life chasing it. Money has no value. The value comes from the goals it actually helps you achieve. That is why Myles Munroe said "The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without purpose".

When you have purpose you have a clear direction of where you are going and you are excited about going there and whatever you go is connected to your purpose and the challenges and problems that may arise along the way are too minute for you to even notice. It doesn't even matter who stands in your way. You won't even mind who doesn't show you love because you are too busy loving yourself. It is no wonder Ralph Waldo Emerson said “What lies behind us, and what lies before us are but tiny matters".

God did not design us to purpose money or success. I mean there are more meaningful things in life. That is why he designed us to pursue purpose and while at it enjoy the process. Living against your purpose is like flying against the wind. God wants us to enjoy our journey all the way even when we are faced with challenges because those challenges actually happen for us. The great Marcus Aurelius said " The impediments to action advances the way". Whatever will stand in our way becomes our way. It however takes one with a growth mindset to understand this and that is why mindset is key even as the person is discovering their purpose.

Humans are not supposed to grow just physically and spiritually but mentally.If your mind is limited, you will be 50 with a mind of a 5 year old and when a 5 year old cannot handle certain situations and they resort to crying because their minds are still fragile. Similarly if you are old with a small mind and no purpose, it's easy to resort to killing yourself. No wonder Martin Luther king Jr said "If a man hasn't found something he will die for, he isn't fit to live.” Mohammad Ali said "A man who views the world at 50 the same way he viewed it at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life ". A person should have something to live for that is worth more than Money. One shouldn't die for money which is printed everyday. One shouldn't die for a human being who is not perfect and also has their own mission to fulfill. It's not everyone who is with now that will finish the journey with you. Some people are meant to be with you for a certain period of time. Some will die, some will just prefer not be with you when they reach a certain. Understand them and Don't take it personal. They where not born to impress you.

If your absence in a place is not noticed, your presence there was irrelevant. Please don't die before you are dead.

MAKE IT LAST

1. Love the person you married, not the person you hoped you married. Accept your spouse totally. You cannot love a man/woman you do not accept. Stop comparing your spouse with anyone, he or she can never be somebody else. Until you accept your spouse, you can't get the best out of your marriage

2. Understand each other. No marriage succeeds without understanding. Learn to know one another as best as you can. Understand you are not the same and may never be. Respect that you are both individuals. Get to know each other strengths and weaknesses. Strengthen each other's weaknesses.

3. Be quick to forgive and quicker to apologize. Love forgives. Learn to accept apology. Freely forgive your spouse’s past, present and future offenses. Never refer to his/her past mistakes. Never go to bed with anger or unsettled quarrel. Marriage is two forgivers living together.

4. Ask your spouse, "What can I do for you today?" every single day.

5. Never talk bad about your spouse to other people. Protect him or her and always keep his or her name safe. Fight for each other, not with each other.

6. Have lots of s*x. Enjoy S*x with your spouse. Never withhold s*x as a punishment.

7. Keep the word "divorce" out of your vocabulary. Remember your vows. Review them on a regular basis.

8. Provide for the needs of your spouse and children. Never be stingy to your spouse. Care for his/her needs. Be generous to him/her. Pay your children’s school fees promptly and regularly. Marriage is not 50/50. It's 100/100. Give yourself entirely, and don't hold back. Men, Be sensitive to your wife’s needs. Spend money to beautify her.

9. Be faithful to your spouse. Being unfaithful is the easiest way to completely ruin your marriage. Adultery kills.

10. Understand and learn each other's love language. Either it can be words, gifts, touch, actions, etc. If it is words, then frequently tell your spouse you love and appreciate him/ her.

It's not the capital you lack, it's the creativity that you lack. Opportunities are everywhere. Dr Edward De Bono said that the reason that many opportunities pass us by is a perceptual one. We do not recognize an opportunity for what it is. An opportunity exists only when we see it. Everyone is surrounded by Opportunities. But they only exist once they have been since. And will only be seen if they are looked for.

Check around you, there are opportunities everywhere. All you need is to change your mind and learn to be positive. Your don't need a better phone or you don't need a better home to see Opportunities. You just need a positive mindset. Mindset if everything. It is the difference between an average life and a magic life. Many complain about the economy being bad hence not finding the opportunities. Robert Kiyosaki said "When times are bad is when the real entrepreneurs emerge. Entrepreneurs don't really care if the markets up and down. So when somebody says there's less opportunities now, it's because they are losers".

Change your thinking and you will change your life. When you change how you look at things, the things you look at change. A person who never changes his opinion never corrects his mistakes. Herbert Spencer said ' A living thing is distinguished from a dead thing by the multiplicity of the changes at any moment taking place in it". Remember you cannot become what you are destined to be by remaining what you are.

There will always be more to learn and there will always be plenty of room in your room for everything you learn (Jim Rohn).

When I joined the 9-5, I found people who had been in the 9-5 for up to 30 years and they were so proud of themselves to mention it though to make me, it only meant slavery to me. Why would I be so proud of pushing someone's mission for all my energetic years. Anyway that aside. One thing i was quick to notice was that these same people were resistance to change. Should one try to introduce a better and faster way of doing things, they would always say no and that that was a way they had been doing things and they had no hope of changing the way of doing things.

Bill Macnabb former CEO of Vanguard the largest provider of mutual funds once interviewed leaders within the organization to find out who where successful and who where not. He found out that long term success was dependent on their core belief. Those who believed that they could not learn anymore failed to move up to the senior level. If you want to be great you need to stop thinking that your abilities are fixed. Neuro science has shown that we have an enormous capacity to change our brains and learn skills as we get older. No wonder Henry Ford said "Whether you think you can or you can't, you are right".

Most of us today are not making full use of out brains.The brain is plastic and you can mould it with sustained effort and experience. So don't be scared to think or dream big. As you grow older physically don't forget to leave behind your brain. Remember you are enough.
