From flying kites to chasing bubbles, our Play & Learn group experienced how wind moves and interacts with the world around them. Through active play, children explored movement, direction, and cause-and-effect while having fun outdoors.

Playgroup had a wonderful time with our 𝑲𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒄 & 𝑲𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑭𝒍𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 activity! 🪁✨
Children explored colors, shapes, and patterns while creating their own kites, then enjoyed running outdoors as they watched them soar in the sky.

Our playgroup children enjoyed a fun 𝑾𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓–𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 & 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 activity. They learned to match clothes to different weather while practicing tracing skills.
This activity builds 𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, strengthens 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨, 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 through play.

𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮. 🌬️🪁

As part of our 𝘞𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 & 𝘚𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳 theme, children enjoyed kite flying and bubble play while learning about wind. They observed how air movement makes kites fly and bubbles drift, helping them understand simple cause-and-effect concepts in a meaningful way.

This activity supports gross motor development, visual tracking, coordination, and sensory exploration, while encouraging curiosity about the natural environment.

This pre-writing strokes activity is an old one from the blog...but it's very effective! Sometimes letters are formed with slanty straight lines or strait-ish slant lines. Taking a step backward and targeting pre-writing skills can be very effective. This is even a good activity to work on letter formation to create a sensory-based motor plan.

From dabbing colorful dots to tracing lines and bringing weather scenes to life with colors, every moment was filled with creativity and discovery.

This fun-filled session helps develop 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨, 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙-𝙚𝙮𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡, while also strengthening 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 through tracing. Extending the Easter celebration through a week of meaningful play 🐣🌼

Our activities—Easter egg hunting and egg painting—helped build fine motor skills, creativity, and social interaction, all while having fun.
