STRATEGIC PLANNING ON CENTRAL KITCHEN ESTABLISHMENT FOR SBFP SY 2025-2026

A meaningful two-day planning workshop dedicated to strengthening the implementation of the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) through the establishment of a Central Kitchen.

We are honored with the presence of our guest and resource speaker, Nurse Hazel Mae Ladroma, SBFP Focal Person of DepEd Surigao del Norte Division—our model division who has successfully established and sustained their Central Kitchen operations. Her expertise serves as our guide and inspiration as we begin this important initiative.

This activity is initiated by our SDS, Sir Manuel O. Caberte, and headed by our SBFP Division Focal Person, Nurse Rosynette E. Libay, with the strong support and guidance of our SGOD Chief, Dr. Harem L. Taruc.

Together, we envision a more efficient and sustainable feeding program for the benefit of every Siargao learner.

Successfully Concluded: SBFP Program Implementation Review (PIR) SY 2024-2025

The Schools Division of Siargao has successfully conducted the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) Program Implementation Review for SY 2024-2025 held at the Siargao Convention Center, Osmeña, Dapa, Surigao del Norte.

The activity gathered last school year’s dedicated implementers — AOs, PDOs, Bookkeepers, and School Heads — together with our 9 Division Nurses, to review accomplishments, challenges, and strategies for continuous improvement of SBFP.

The program was highlighted with the Opening Message from SGOD Chief Dr. Harem L. Taruc and an Inspirational Message from CID Chief Dr. Gemna G. Gemparo.

Nurse Pilarita S. Pomoy, Nurse In Charge of the School Health and Nutrition Unit, presented the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program, emphasizing its contribution to sustaining SBFP.

Selected School Heads also shared their best practices and challenges in the implementation of the feeding program, providing valuable inputs for future rollout.

The activity was successfully steered by the SBFP Division Focal Person, Nurse Rosynette E. Libay.

Together, we strengthen our commitment to ensure that every Siargao learner is nourished, healthy, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

❗️Taob
❗️Taktak
❗️Tuyo
❗️Takip ️

Tandaan: Kung walang lamok, walang dengue!
