November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month 🫁

🔴Ano ang Lung Cancer?
Ang cancer ay isang sakit kung saan 'di napipigilan ang paglaki at pagdami ng masasamang bukol sa baga sa katawan.
Kapag ang cancer ay nagmula sa baga, ito ay tinatawag na lung cancer.

📌Iba-iba ang sintomas nito depende sa tao at uri ng cancer. Ngunit ang ilan sa mga karaniwang sintomas nito ay:

*Ubo na 'di nawawala
*Sakit sa dibdib
*Hirap sa paghinga
*Pag-ubo na may dugo
*Lubos na pagkapagod
*Pagbaba ng timbang sa 'di alam na dahilan

HIRAYA: Takbo ng Pag-asa Celebrates a Successful Advocacy Run for Cancer Awareness 🎗️🩷

The Hiraya: Takbo ng Pag-asa Fun Run concluded with resounding success as hundreds of runners came together in a powerful show of solidarity for breast and lung cancer awareness. Dressed in vibrant shades of pink and white, participants proudly ran not only for fitness and camaraderie, but for a deeper purpose supporting the ongoing fight against cancer.

One of the most heartfelt highlights of the event was the medal awarding ceremony, where patients from Bicol Cancer Center, the very beneficiaries of the run, had the honor of presenting medals to the finishers. Their smiles, strength, and presence made the moment even more meaningful, reminding everyone why this advocacy matters.

The atmosphere throughout the day was lively and joyful. Runners enjoyed exploring booths and food stalls set up around the venue, adding fun, flavor, and community engagement to the experience. From hydration stations to partner exhibitors, every corner offered something exciting for participants and supporters alike.

This year’s Hiraya run once again proved that when a community unites for a purpose, hope becomes stronger and more visible. Through every stride, every cheer, and every shared moment, the message was clear awareness saves lives, and together, we run for hope.
